Blackpowder
Just read in my Scottish Daily Mail a news item from Blairgowrie you could not make this up. This guy who had seen the devastation caused by drugs to his family, entered the dealers house while addmittingly in a drunken state, seized the dealers supply and flushed it down the toilet. Result two months in jail for Peter Drummond while it remains unclear if Tayside Police are going to take action against the dealer. Guest
Love the UK justice system. That is a very good example why we have high crime in the UK: it pays.
CEREALTHRILLER
The worlds gone mad Maybe what he did was morally right but at the end of the day he should not have entered the dealers house - did he force his way in?

Billy.
*humming the national anthem* Oh how proud I am of the UK criminal justice system. What confuses me, is that the drug dealer actually reported that his drugs were flushed?!?!

poppythedog
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish...86908-21129976/ It does make you think some of our Judiciary are slightly out of touch with the real world.
Blackpowder
Front page headline in the same newspaper is"£100M COST OF BENEFIT JUNKIES", in other words the tax payer is subsidising the users and dealers. Totally insane in my opinion. Blackpowder
hairyduck
It would be no bad thing if the junkies were registered and supplied with drugs on the NHS, just like they used to be in the old days. This would get rid of the dealers and remove about 90% of the crime in the country. That'd be far too simple though...
death from below
The law is a great big ball of greyness......with plenty of bleeding heart liberals and out for money lawyers all too keen to jump on instances like this. By the word of the law I'm sure the intruder has broken at least two laws. In any sensible society the fact he flushed 'illegal' substances down the bog would mean he walked free. BUT.....be weary of press coverage......What you'll probably find is that the two blokes knew each other(most likely rival dealers or dealer/csutomer) and this is some sort of dispute gone wrong. AND....it is in Scotland
GJUK
He got the time for breaking in and saying he would kill the guy, not for flushing away the drugs. Stop reading the Daily Mail.
JohnGalway
Did the cops return or replace his flushed property?
LeeinVA
The crack head is damn lucky that the only thing flushed were his drugs
