Malinois
The problem with lots of disinfectants and using them with dogs is how they are absorbed. Dogs absorb liquids and chemicals through their pads. Not even all the veterinary ones are safe to put the dog back on to when they are still wet. The only one I have used that is safe is Cromesol but it is very expensive. I use bleach or dettol but I either rinse it away or do not put the dogs back on it until it is dry. Huntinlass
I work in a boarding kennels p/t. They used to use Trigene and Zoflora when needed. Its mainly used for the smell as I think Jeyes Fluid tends to put people off when their dog goes home stinking of it. But since a customer complained about a reaction on the dogs feet (which the boss of the kennels said never before has a dog had a reation to the disinfectant in the 30 years he has been open) they have now brought a more expensive disinfectant which has been made dog friendly.
