Markio
MC what time will you be in the beer tent? Haggis. Are you going to have a pop at the clay shoot? I have no idea if you have to book a slot of just simply wait your turn but i'll check it out first thing when i get there. If MC goes for it and you're up for it too then would be good to go round the setup at same time?

Huntinlass
Good displays as usual. Stalls quite disappointing--- seen as 80% were food based - Don't no if its just me but there wasn't a lot there. Plenty of people-unitl about 2pm when it started to calm down- Good craftmen there with wood and glass etc-Ferrets, dogs, falcons, owls-donkey rides for kids. A good morning/afternoon out i suppose but nothing to rave about. Been better in previous years- Good weather!!

That's a shame, I was hoping to pick up some eye & ear protection and a cartridge bag. Oh well. Maybe I could see if Fur n Feather is open on Sundays and pop in on the way back if I don't find what I want. Cheers, JD

Good luck!
MC
Depends what ear protection you want, there is a couple of stands that do the custom moulded plugs and various places selling ear muffs. I thought it was a good show, yes there were lots of food stands but they obviously need to cater for the whole family. I din't buy anything particular but most of what you want is there, there is just not the 100's of stands like the midland or CLA.
jammie*dodger
Should be ok in that case. There's lots of other stuff I want to see so no worries if I can't find stuff to buy. The missus will be pleased if I don't buy anything to be honest What's the parking like? JD
MC
Parking is easy, It took about 10 minutes from the A47 into the car park and even less to get out
Bleeh
Ended up buying a long net, and a bunch of cider. It was an alright show as always, lots of stands but mostly junky-sunday-fair like items, but still a good day out. Quiet enjoyed watching that ''doggy docks'' thing, where you made you beloved pooch swim for it's life.
jammie*dodger
Yep, just got back. Parking was very well organised thanks to the local Army Cadets. Lots to see but there was a lot of junk type stalls (like i'd see at the big car boot sales). Food was pretty good but expensive. Most importantly I had a good time. I didn't actually buy anything in the end as I think I can probably get it cheaper online. Cheers, JD
