I've had trouble attaching images but hopefully you see its 3 prongedpost-70436-0-69995400-1409565409_thumb.jpg

I have now cut the height down, slid a thinner tube inside, drilled and tapped it so its height adjustable for standing crops. Am waiting to get the motor before making the mount.

That looks like some heavy duty bit of kit!!

How big or how many pigeons are going on that??

I'll put two birds on it. I was just guestimating sizes as I went along. I'll measure it up. I chose to make it sturdy so widened the base to what I thought was good. I've zinc painted it now and will maybe camo it up next.

As I had the welder out I made a smaller 4 pronged one as well, may as well as I'll leave one at a relatives for when I'm shooting there. Pic to follow. He has the motors in a car so I've to wait til Friday when I'm visiting him again.

I've a few fields where I can drive fairly close to so won't have too far to carry it, if I have a helper, even better. Yeah I thought I may as well make it adjustable with a little thought as I've recently got shooting at barley fields. And I've just noticed this threads from 2009!
