Si-Bore
Hey guys I am replenishing my stock of dead-bird cradles as they seem to break very easily (well at lest the ones I bought do). Can anyone recommend some good, quality ones that don't break at the welds easily? Thanks Si
top shot
best way is to do it urself mate rather than buying it ready made works out cheaper or just go to your local blacksmith and even that works out cheaper

dodeer
I have a friend who makes them, they have lasted a pigeon guide near me who uses them about 150 days a year, about the last 5 or 6 years. Real hardy bits of kit. Think the last 30 i bought were £2.50 each but worth the extra money. Quality costs!
henry d
The ones I made cost "nadda" and have been in use 10yrs or so and have no welds Give them a whirl
chris crow
make your own from security fence, the type round building sites[there are lods of abandoned sites around these days]. cut out a section of mesh say 12 sections down and 2 section across .I snip off the fist 2 cross pieces to form the neckpart then bend the 3rd section round to form the cradle body which i fix with wire at the tail feather end. then snip off the fourth cross piece then bend the fifth cross piece round the cradle body.then cut off the remaining cross pieces to form the part which you will push into the ground bend the wire to copy the cradle shape. it realy is easy and they are of a galvanised mesh so it wont rust the mesh sections are 40mm x260mm rectangles all you need are some strong snips, wire and a grinder to smooth off the cut offs. i will try to post a picture of some i have made. this would give you all a visual, as am not sure if my instructions explain things. by! off to find out how to post a pic aaaaahhhh i hate pc,s
