Tikka n CZ

Oh right, lots of Tikka fans here then! I have to admit they are accurate rifles and the bolt is pretty smooth. I have an issue with the plastic bits though, I think they're a little poor for a rifle costing what they do!

The CZ is all metal. Also extremely accurate but a little less smooth. I'd say it will out last a Tikka easily due to the build quality (or should I say less corner cutting to save a couple of quid).

I have a T3 and a CZ527. If the CZ550 had a detatchable mag in 6.5x55 I would have bought that instead of the Tikka. If you could find an old Tikka 595 or 695 though, different story all together!

But the CZ527 is a very different rifle from the CZ550, a real treat to use and own when compared to its clunking older brother. For the purpose of this exercise though, I'd vote T3.

I looked at both rifle and held them and worked the bolt. Both very nice guns but I ended up going for the CZ! Im a big ****** and therefore the CZ just seemed to fit me better :) The bolt was a lil smoother on the Tikka but the CZ's wasn't bad itself and the set trigger is lovely

The Remington 710 and 700 had the most horrible bolts I have ever felt  the 710 got stuck twice just pulling it back lol!

So picked the CZ as with the cheak piece coming out it was a nice comfortable fit and felt right :P

Thanks for the advice guys, shame I didn't quite follow it :good:
