ernyha
I usually set it up with the killing zone 25 yards from the hide.

henry c
20 yrds
ROB REYNOLDS UK
20 yrds is just right :o and if you get your self under a tree ..and the deaks are too far out the birds fly over the tree and have chance to see the deaks and if they dont like what they see they will turn before you even see them ,so i will say 20 yrds is just right and you will have more chance of hitting them as well
ROB REYNOLDS UK
i shoot 51 pigeon on saturday and the magnet was only 15yrds out as i had no choice and i was in the corner of a wheat field and they came right in never had them so close before
mossy835
i put mine out at 20 yards about wright i dont like decoying in a corner of the field i think the pigeons feel traped they like the open.
hawkeye
If the winds from behind the first decoy usually an angel is set 10 paces from front of hide them work from that point. I always put a floater 35 yds from hide and use that to gauge the distance once past that i will have a go for them. :( B)
P03
I find 25 - 35 yds is about right I normally try to set up about 45 yds from a "sitty tree" and put a couple of full bodied flocked deeks as high as I can get 'em. I can't be 100% sure but I reckon this pulls birds in from further afield. :(
