I remember on the AGU you used to be an expert at getting the bunnies with your rapid, then the bunnies with your .17 now your mastering the pigeon shooting!! Lez325
Thanks guys - I do still take a few bunnies only now I use a 17 HMR or 22 LR and No the Black bunny will not be eaten- he's a tad small The area I shoot over has dozens of these Black Rabbits as well as the normal browny ones- must be some sort of throwback or maybe a cross bred strain Im starting to enjoy Pigeon Shooting - just getting a feel for it now Les

Lez325
The black bunny may have been a pet which has either escaped or been released No I dont think so; as previously stated there are dozens of these black bunnies on this farm- so maybe a cross bread from an escaped pet or something similar- we'll never be 100% sure but I do shoot them if I get the chance as the landowner wants them gone Les

jimmyh1988
I think the black bunnies seem to be part of a throwback gene because i also have these black bunnies about 4 where i go walking the dog but i too thought someone had released a tame rabbit into the wild but like i said its a throwback gene just like the ginger gene in humans but hey only anothe 300pelts lez and ya got a black bunny coat
