lordofthewings
As the title say,s for left-handed air-guns? There is no bolt to operate, a scope is generaly used so eye dominance is not an issue. I pose the question because, although I,ve been shooting for some time , I have never used a rifle of any kind but I am considering getting one to use on the squirrels. I shoot of the left shoulder, and being aware of the percentages of left-handed to right-handed amonge fire arms in general I can see where it may be difficult to pick a reasonable second-hand one
LeeinVA
Sure it does? Unless the comb on the stock is universal then the south paw shooter would be put in an uncomfortable shooting position
bruno22rf
Try using a stock with a cheek piece designed for a right hander-on the left-not only uncomfortable but takes your eye off centre for the scope-you can get away with some guns (the HW80 isn't too bad)but you would be wise to try before you buy.You could allways go for an ambidextrous (?) stock-try the Air Arms S200-cant think of a better gun for the money. John_R
As the title say,s The title is actually one those irritating ones that says nothing. However, as the others say they are a good idea, and ambi stocks work too. You'll just have to decide by shouldering a few. I am guessing you want a spring or underlever, from your point about the bolt.
holly
yep there is i am blind in my right eye so i can only shoot left handed , i am right handed at everything else try holding a air gun right handed and looking down the sights with your left eye Edited July 7, 2009 by holly
shot shot
It depends on the rifle. I used an air arms s410 classic at a country fair a few months back, and the stock was very much right hand orientated. I did use it left handed (left eye dominant) and to say it was uncomfortable was an understatement. with springers, remember that whilst the action may be able to be operated lefty, the safety may not be. basically, as others have said, try before you buy

Dave-G
Some of the FX range have a biathalon type cocking system that can be switched from right to left.
