Bluebarrels
Got to the shoot at 6.30 and set up the hide, birds were on the move already. once the first two birds were down i got them on the magnet, this was to the right of the hide,(Dont normally have much luck with the magnet, but it seemed to work very well today) a view from the hide to the left, 73-shot and 48-picked up,a good days shooting, and then the heavens opened,so i called it a day,BB Edited July 7, 2009 by Bluebarrels

Bluebarrels
Yes, was a simple question thats all, I recognise the land Im not been funny mate, but the reason i wont confirm its location is simple, the landowner has had so much trouble with theft of farm machinery etc,i dont feel its my place or right to give details out over a public forum,i like shooting there, and hope to continue,so if you think you recognise the land, well done, and lets leave it at that. samw
dont know if the speed is to high on mine. it could be i got a speed control on mine and set at a low speed seems to work well itryed it high thinking that they would see the faster moving birds and they did seem to come in but would flar off at the last min just out of range so set it at a low speed and in they come i found that sillosock crows and to dead birds on the magnet work really well

I always find, using a speed controller works well for crows, about half speed on a magtame controller, and they just drop in to say hello BB
