I have not made a claim and my Lab is still a youngster (12 months) but they wrote to me the other day and just increased the premium to £18!! - seems once they have you they obviously feel they can take the mickey. A classic ploy to get the business in the door so beware if it seems really cheap theres a good chance it wont stay like that. I know £18 is still pretty good for lifetime cover but annoying when companies do this after such a short time and the principal off it says im off somewhere else.
