magman
Pass , unless im shooting pigeons im lost
Chard
Pass , unless im shooting pigeons im lost I'm very confused by the rule. On one part of the CPSA rules, it specifically says that registered competitions are open only to members. Then somewhere else it talks about non-members being able to buy a "Day Pass" for about £3.50. I just don't get it, it's about as clear as mud. I reckon if you came along and just said "birds only" they would just give you a card. You obviously couldn't win any prizes, but I don't reckon they'd stop you shooting. beretta
dont know how the day pass works really but usually they ask for your class and cpsa number
beretta
considering the forcast today it did manage to stay dry. the worsley wanderers were out in full force today (5 of em) anni with his new gun which hes getting used to. :o chard with a bout of flu like symptems. yellowbear with a gun thats been so drasticly altered im shocked he could hit anything at all with. (but he did) magman with the worst excuse for a hat ive ever seen. (came off the set from the DELIVERENCE) nickyt with the smartest pair of italian hand made gucci gloves ive ever seen. all in all a good round with some ok (but strange ) guys. dont know the scores but all did ok. i think
Chard
Managed to stay dry? It never stopped ******* raining till we left Plenty of excuses flying round today Still reckon you could be pretty close to top score there B unless they got a last minute invasion of top shooters. I expect I'd have got about 95 if I hadn't been on my last legs half the day A good course, as usual for Catton :o
Anni
Good to see all the northwest pigeonwatchers today at catton. Not an amazing score from me today, but an improvment. New gun feels good, Just got to put some carts through it now and get used to where it shoots. I could tell beretta was worried Great shooting from chard and nickyt, with yellowb improving yet again with the unbent barrells Allways a joy to watch beretta make it look p**s easy . Magman was way off his usual good form, he's been getting to good on the pigeons of the feathered kind. I,m sure if clays were classed as virmin he would give digweed a run for it Till the next time Edited July 26, 2009 by Anni
magman
Was good to see you all today Shot like a **** but i enjoyed every minute of it . Must get that Beretta guy out of the scratching like a chicken routine Stand 9 was a funny one , but best not go there (o) (o) To be honest my heart isn't in it (clays that is ) Anni Shut the left eye and stick to it and your scores will improve Nicky T Time will tell but you need to be consistent Yellow bear Always in a rush Chard Need to start taking it out on the clays instead of the cartridge bin Beretta Overhead birds on stand 9 i would of bet money on you dusting them Magman Shouldn't bother shooting clays again as your hearts not in it All good guys to shoot with today and i enjoyed it and the company

Nicky T
Nicky T Time will tell but you need to be consistent All good guys to shoot with today and i enjoyed it and the company I certainly agree with you on the consistency thing - when i work it out you'll be the second to know! Good to meet you too, especially enjoyed the comment about Chard's shooting coach early in the day
Chard
especially enjoyed the comment about Chard's shooting coach early in the day Yes They always say that timing is the secret of great comedy. When we arrived at Catton, I stopped to talk to my old shotgun coach, Kev, who I had a few lessons with when I first started clay shooting 4 or 5 years ago. When I came back to sit down, I just mentioned that that was the bloke who taught me to shoot. With impeccable timing, Magman piped up with "Did you punch him?" You had to be there
