as i've posted elswhere hull special pigeon at £155 per thuo at euroguns at the moment this seems a good price to me so just thought i'd let you lot know.

Voted for Gamebore Clear Pigeon 32g 6's, but too be honest I've been using Eley first 28g 7.5's and haven't noticed any difference, no more than the normal amount of winged birds than when using any game loads be it steel or lead and have taken birds out past 40 yards with them.

 

The cost is significantly cheaper too.

 

Interested where LB gets Eley Realtree for £30 for 250 as they come in boxes of 200

i`m going to try some lylevale supergame, 36g on some pheseants.

-fibre. alittle ott. but i got them cheap ages ago.

Though not on the list I bought today 2000 Hull Soverign 28g 61/2 shot for £160 a thousand.

Superb for partridge and pigeon.

Fiocchi PL30 5's are quite possibly the best cartridge ive ever used and if they were available more i would have them everytime

Proper pigeon 5.5 for me . I have shot most of the shells listed , but would pick proper pigeon over them all.

Which Rotts were you using LB?

 

I went through 250 Rott Jagd 30g number 5's (bright green cases) a couple of years ago and they were flippin superb, I've never had so many folded birds as I did with those cartridges.

 

They were pretty hot on pheasants too IIRC

I would love to get my hands on these, Its been 2 years since i bought the last lot. My hit/kill ratio was up by about 15% with them and when they are in the barrell i always felt so confident.

 

Gamebore clear pigs or black gold now for me as cannot get the rotts
