Wookie
The CZ works. It works well. It is cheap. It works. It is simple and it works.
blackbird
Before you buy either take a look at a Sako Quad I have one & its the dogs
Wookie
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't give the man choices! Choices are bad. The thin end of the wedge is suggesting the Sako, next thing you know someone will mention the Savage or the Weirauch and then we will be in serious trouble. Oh... Oooops
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
CZ. Cheap to buy. Works well. I have two. I wouldn't sell them to try another make. I wouldn't gain anything.
steve_b_wales
CZ. I've just bought a new CZ 452 Varmint. It's brilliant!

Oooops Have a quick look at Browning and Parker Hale too. I vote CZ. I've got one and it works nicely and could still afford all the extras afterwards. casts_by_fly
whichever one you can find cheaper, locally. They will both do an equal job. I'd probably take the marlin personally, but only because I have a marlin 22LR and know the triggers well (and how to modify them). Thanks, Rick
Baldrick
Rick, whilst I cannot fault your knowledge, we must allow for the fact that you are an American - your countrymen still produce 'luxury' cars fitted with leaf springs. Would you really choose a Marlin over a CZ, when being totally objective?

bullet boy
CZ`s are the best value for money rifles you can buy in my opinion.I do like the Savage .17 HMR with laminate stock though.
