Nicky T
Has anyone had a "standard" stock modified to incorporate an aftermarket adjustable comb in the UK? The Graco Adjustable comb has been highly recommended: http://graco-corp.com/adjustable-comb-hard...x?CategoryId=23 Has anyone had any experience with this product and if so, where/who would you recommend i take my gun to get one fitted? Thanks, Nick

Wookie
Where's he based? I seem to remember that there's a bloke in Luton that does fully adjustable stocks, but don't have his name or number to hand...

Gordon R
I have had two done - one for £80 - which was just up and down - job was as a good as factory finish. The second had sideways movement - cost £100, but I was not as good as the first. Gunsmith in Oldham. These are not Graco and appear home made, but from better materials. Andy on here had one done at Doveridge - cost about £150, but was excellent. Lastly, I have done one myself. Just need a bit of nerve for the big cut, the rest is half an hour with a Dremel and a bit of drilling / tapping. This used the Graco system bought from the Gun Cupboard. It wasn't really designed for extensive usage in my book. Edited September 14, 2009 by Gordon R

Fatcatsplat
Malcolm Jenkins on 01582 564496 Very experienced and did an excellent conversion on a friends gun. Can also recommend - He made an entirely new stock for my mate's 120 year old Army and Navy S/S - Looks the absolute nadgers and fits him beautifully. Apparently has a very strange telephone manner but don't let that put you off - He is fantastic at what he does.
Wookie
Maybe I should look him up to get a new adjustable stock for my SPig...
Nicky T
Elected to go with Simon, the gunsmith at Doveridge, in the end and have just got the stock back from him today. Quality of the workmanship is first class and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend his work or a Grace Adjustable Comb system to anyone on here
