wildfowler.250
Hi I was just wondering what the normal price of one in new condition?(Hungarian model). Trying to price out a new set up atm and figured scope first is the best idea also what's your preferred recticle for stalking? Many thanks for any replies
Gully
New they are around £540, I picked mine up (from on here) for £320 I think it was. A1 mint I'd expect to pay around £350-400.

docholiday
I have both illuminated reticule and without, on balance I would get one with, S & B have a variable brightness so can turn it off if you want, always use it on the bunnies, not so much on the Deer Doc

Glensman
The prices have gone up a bit, but one went 2 weeks ago on another board for €320, and another on Ebay about one week ago for £320... But generally they make £350-360... I wouldn't pay more than that for a second hand one.
Dunkield
Damn, we should have all been investing in quality glass all those years ago not bricks and mortar

I'll keep a look around for one second hand but might just bitebthe bullet and get a new one :look: On a different note I'm never sure wether to trust eBay for scopes or not :look:

But you'll be able to tell a real S & B instantly, both of mine are off Ebay...
