docholiday
I would take it to your local gun shop. I am sure they would have it sorted in a few mins Doc
unclemicky
Blade the o-ring would be the last thing to go on your magazine tube before you re-fit the barrel , thats how it works on my Hatsan

Nial
The old O ring seals around the shiny bit at the 'front' of the gas 'chamber' (I don't know what the official term is) to stop the gas escaping out the front (the shiny bit in your 5th picture). Someone on PW was recently was looking for a Hatsan O ring, someone else replied they had some. I've a load of Remington 11-87 rings coming from the States, but I don't know when they'll get here or what size they are. What's the gun, and what's the diameter of the ring? Nial. BTW, I'd get a bit of oil on the sprung rings round the piston, they look like they're corroding.

Nial
I was lying in bed thinking about this last night (as you do, the wife was asleep). All magazine tubes are for holding cartridges or the relevant bore. With this in mind there's a good chance that they're all the same outside diameter, so an O ring from a Remington might fit an Escort or 'Lincoln Conquest' Nial. Nial
morning nial you may be right has anybody got a spare o ring 25mm i/d to try off another semi I've just remembered to measure the one on mine and it's ~25mm i/d too, about 2mm thick. I've got some new ones coming from the States, I'll let you know when they arrive. I'm not sure I'd use a 'generic' ring, the material needs to withstand the heat of the barrel gas.
