Hmm any night you are free and not pushed for time seems to help, i went out on a full moon and still night and got nine, but friday went out and got two, much darker due to cloud but still. still, any opportunity comes to mind, just depends on the night. either way I thouroughly enjoyed both nights, regardless, sometimes its not about the big bags but the expierience, on friday, we only got 2 but there was some ******* challenging shots pursued due to dips in ground etc. Lots of 'close but no cigar' happenings.

Just enjoy it!!!! is my advice,

Will

If you approach it right any weather is ok,misty wet evenings you'll probably see more rabbits than any other time they seem to be more relaxed,I have had superb nights on the foxes with a thick frost and a full moon when its been like walking around in the daytime, still nights have also been good but when you call foxes do it so quitely you think they'll never hear and watch the results.

But you will also get the night when you venture out and have that strange feeling after searching for ages that you are wasting your time, these things can only be learnt and not taught.

So go when you can and take in all you can about the conditions and how it effects your permissions.
