SSS
Finally decided that it is time to get rid of my baikal. Dont get me wrong, its a real good gun, shoots nice and everything but the chokes are so tight (full/extrafull) i struggle to hit anything. So, I went to livens earlier on today and traded it in for a nice little S/S AYA yeoman. Its the first time I have used a S/S so I thought I would take it to the clay ground. Shoots brilliantly, never thought it would be so easy to adjust to having the barrles next to each other. I would even go as far as saying, I prefer S/S. Added bonus, it was a bargain at only £160 Sam

I couldn't hit anything with it though and sold it when I hit a pigeon sitting in a tree problem was I was aiming for the bird next to it! swift4me
You can tell the age of the gun by a pair of letters stamped on the flats of the action, and or the barrels. I'm sure you can google up the Spanish proof mark info. Good luck, Pete
welshwarrior
Go to the AYA website and email them from thier contact page with the ser no. and they will tell you all about the gun day it left the factor how it was set up and who brought it. Takes about 12 Hrs to get a reply.

Dave66
Sam, what choke is your AYA, most of them have quite tight patterns, usually full and half, I bored out my 3A last weekend, first barrel between improved and qtr, second half choke. I am hoping this improves things with it. Cheers Dave
SSS
Dave66, the chokes are half/half.doesnt seem a bad set up really. Im taking it to the clay ground again to have a better go today.
SSS
Here you go mate, Aya Go to history of aya, then serial numbers on the right hand side. Rick. I E-mailed AYA to find out the age of mine and it left the factory in 1970 with the chokes that are in it now. It had its first blood last night
