It will indicate that the battery is full however it’s max capacity is now 84%. This battery degradation is normal & happens with all lithium batteries from phones to a Tesla car.

Unlocked iPhone 6s in rose gold. The phone is approx 18 months old. It’s always been in a case so is in excellent condition. I can’t see any marks on it at all.
