Thanks for the replys i am not sure what the finish is, varnish ,or oiled?its a dark walnut type finish and the area i have rubbed down came of quickley with wire wool, You have done a nice job their mate did you strip it of with nitromos?what have you used oil wise? thanks

Hello Chaps i have done a little glue repair job on the shoulders of my cz stock i have rubbed the repair down with some wire wool and i am now left with a bare patch i was wondering if i got some brown walnut stain this would touch the area in to match or do i need oil as well? would stain and a bit of bees wax do ? Any body done this sort of thing ?please Cheers Lads
