  1. just let me try to get my head around this . in your opinion , i dont actually find it offensive , im just trying to attack a symbol of capitalism ? , and im also a stupid and unreasonable person ?. you really are something special , your deranged ramblings often make me wonder what on earth goes through you mind. i really hope , that as you grow older , your life doesnt take the same path as mine , and one or two other pw members ,but if it does , you might begin to understand why myself and other members dont find the ad very tasteful .
  2. Edit : that and outlawing first cousin marriage to try and stem the tide of children being born with preventable genetic defects, often fatal or requiring life long intensive health care. Bang on , Flynny i remember watching a documentary about this a few years ago , it was people from asian families that married their cousins to keep the family money together , the end result is severely disabled children , at the time , the documentary claimed that each of these disabled children was costing the state £250,000 per year , apparently , this isnt a problem in their country of origin(yes i know many are uk born)as these disabled children just die from lack of medical care. quite shocking on many levels really , and a problem that will never be addressed . im of the very firm opinion , that free medical treatment , shouldnt be offered until the patient has been , living and working and paying tax in the uk for some considerable time. i also think that unemployed people should move to one side in the queue to allow working people to get treatment first , that doesnt mean that an unemployed person that is having a heart attack should wait while i get the boil on my bum lanced , it means that they are more able to attend at different times , without causing too much disruption to their life. the nhs is great , but its being raped daily .
  3. speaking from the point of view of someone that has lost a loved one way too early , i very much agree with both of your posts , both adverts make me feel very uncomfortable.
  4. i was admiring one while i was at work yesterday , it was the poo brown version lol , i said to my mate , "can you remember those ?" he just shuddered lol.
  5. an old mate of mine was a jockey , he was a right state , he looked like the elephant man , one leg was about three inches shorter than his other leg , and the long one was bent . apart from his broken nose , his most prominent feature was the leftover lump from his previously broken shoulder , you could have hung your coat on it lol . he reckoned that being a jockey was the best job in the world and hed loved every minute of it lol. edited to add. he was about 5 feet tall and the build of your average schoolboy , but he could neck two gallons of guinness with ease and would go toe to toe with any man .
  6. lol , even by standards of the day , they were an abortion lol.
  7. fantastical ! , those austin maxis were a credit to the british automotive industry .
  8. you need to get a safer job , stuntman or alligator wrestler would probably be safer than jockey . all the very best with the recovery ben .
  9. Thats brilliant , thankyou , im very tempted to give it a go when I get the chance.
  10. that looks fantastic steve (i was very tempted to say cracking), let me know how you get on with it mate.
  11. That would actually be quite cool.
  12. if i get time tomorrow , ill post pics of my other fantastical bin finds lol.
  13. thank you for the kind words gents , its always nice to know that our products hit the mark. terry . your next pouch to help out with your students has already been posted mate. andy. if you let me know the date of your charity event , we might be able to get one to you in time to use as a raffle prize. hiya mark , thank you for the link mate , unfortunately , things didnt work out for us with the budget slips im afraid. i spoke to lin about adding straps to your slip , it wouldnt be a problem to do mate , and the only cost would be postage.
  14. good evening guys, id forgotten about this ad. unfortunately , our plan to sell budget gunslips didnt work out , we did our very best , but just couldnt make the sums add up . we took a lot of orders for the budget slips , and we saw that every customer got their slip at the price that was promised , we took a pretty big hit on them , and we wont be able to produce any more of them im afraid guys. we will still be producing our bespoke slips , but obviously these will cost a little more. cheers, mel.
  15. Would one of those seats carry a delicate little thing like me steve ?.
  16. oh yes , i knew that rummaging through dustbins would pay off one day
  17. +1 , it wouldnt be expensive at double the price.
  18. I can feel the envy oozing from your messages :-) :-) :-).
  19. The daytime problem is that it just doesnt really see too well in the light , with my .22 lr ill happily shoot rabbits out to 150yrds with a day scope , with the photon id be hard pushed to recognise a rabbit at 50yrds in daylight never mind take a safe shot. Theyre great in the dark but pants in the light. I understand that photons also have a problem with screws or bolts coming loose that hold the camera in place.
  20. prompted by my good lady to return this fine piece of art back to the dustbin where i found it , i thought that id lay this piece of fine art , before you art lovers , before it went to its final resting place. this amazing piece is finely sculpted from marble , or maybe wood or plaster or plastic , and as can be seen from the label , its quite obviously late ming dynasty. now please dont try offering me bucket fulls of cash , this little beauty isnt for sale. i really am a cack magnet.
  21. mine would lose zero whenever it was turned off , sometimes by a couple of mm at 50yrds , and sometimes much more , i would try and try again as i thought that i must be doing something wrong (its pretty techy by my standards) , the last straw came when i took a shot at a rabbit and the .22lr round went rattling through the trees approximately 50ft above the rabbits head , fortunately the backstop was a 300ft hill , in other circumstances it could have been very very serious indeed . scotts country were ok about it(it also had a fault with the menu button) but they didnt mention that lots of owners had had the same problem. they sent a courier to pick it up , and it was returned within a couple of weeks , im not honestly sure if they repaired it , or sent a new one , it looked identical , but the software menu was slightly different , its been fine ever since , although daytime performance is truly cack.
  22. I cant comment on the electrical side of things , but I know that many owners have had problems with photons holding zero , mine had to go back for repair as it would lose zero whenever it was turned off.
  23. I might just try it out, it would be quite interesting.
  24. i didnt realise that you could buy any film at all these days , i thought everything was digital.
  25. evening gents, im always finding old tat at work , yesterday i came by this old camera , it has no real financial value , but its a very interesting find. i think its a 1953 - 1957 model , i bet its taken some interesting pics in its time.
