  1. Assuming it quick fill and comes with 2 x 14 shot mags along with the scope then I would say that £500 is all of its money really. EB
  2. Use your power to do a search and all will be revealed...simple EB
  3. It's a public access forum - posting your number is not a good idea. EB
  4. Fantastic, I fish for tarpon off the gulf beaches and boy will they pull your string, here's a quick pic form the last trip of a fish in the 80lb class although we have brought to the boat fish in excess of 150lb. After a while you realise that the fish in the 60 to 80lb bracket are the best fun. EB
  5. Wipe down with a lightly oiled rag after each time it's been out and use a pull through every so often to clean the barrel, napier do alot of good stuff for this however I use 50lb fishing line for the pull through as opposed to a cleaning rod so as not to damage the crowning. EB
  6. So that's where I left my flask Nice shooting dude. EB

  8. Sounds like you need a few rat/mouse traps... Eb

Normally use AA Field 4.52 but am picking up a tin of accupels today to try out. The last batch I tried were pretty much on par for accuracy with the AA but will run side by side test over variouse distances to see if they are purhaps better for long range?? The main thing I have noticed is that they are not as soft as the AA Field so where the Accupel flatten on impact the AA actually fragment which may be of benefit when hunting, also when loading from a mag the accupel slip in sweet due to the probe fitting the back end of them perfectly, infact so smooth that I sometimes wonder if I have loaded a pellet. Will probably end up sticking to AA but you do have to try these things.. EB
  11. It's a good idea to complete your profile with location..etc also a bit more info on the HW100 ie caliber, quickfill?? Good luck with the sale. EB
  12. I have been using AA field in .177 for some time now and don't have problem with knocking bunnies over. Shot placement is key. EB
  13. 7ltr 300 BAR, a good balance between being able to lug it about and number of fills. Try these people: http://www.deepblueshooting.co.uk/category...1255&page=2 EB
  14. Just don't leave the trap in one place for too long, they sure are messy birds them magpies. EB
  15. Stick a herring out on a lead on one rod and then sink and draw a Smelt on the other, add weight to the sink and draw as required. Have a good one.. EB
  16. I started with a Logun and the filters and it accounted for many bunnies and rats, the range is a bit restrictive but likewise it doesnt spook everthing. Have since moved onto the deden mini pro, it's alot better given that it has a dimmer which gives you the best of all round performance, Optics Warehouse seem to be pretty well priced for these. With the evenings drawing in whatever you get it will become a valued piece of kit. EB
  17. Might be an idea to fill in your profile, or at least let people know where you are. Good luck with the sale EB
  18. Well I might just give it a go. EB
  19. It's trhe best show of the year, I could spend 1 day alone in Gun Makers Row, shame the missus dont agree. EB
  20. Hi after going to the CLA Show I noticed a few different types of caller for foxes, some were the basic widget style while others were more american style, if you know what I mean. The one that caught my attention was this one: http://www.foxcalluk.co.uk/ Has anyone used one if these and what were the results? 8 out of 10 times I manage to squeak then in but I suppose I just fancy a new toy, I shoud have just bought one there but if it turns out they are any good will just have to order one online and cough up the extra £4. Thanks EB
  21. Had a fantastic day there today, arrived at 7.30 with only minor traffic although I hear that those that turned up later sat in traffic. It did'nt shut till 7.30 so stayed till then. Plenty to see and it's a great venue so blow the cobwebbs out of your wallets and get down there, I'd be back there tomorrow if I could only convince the wife. If you going over the weekend have a good one. EB
