  1. Would be a good idea to put some more detail in your profile, people like to know who they are dealing with. EB
  2. Yo Gav, you have to state a price dude, forum rules. "All sales items must be accompanied with a suggested price of sale." EB
  3. Having owned a number of S4** it would just seem to me that the safety on the more recent ones is a bit of an after thought on what is a fantastic airgun. I am a big fan of sensible and functional safetys, but the s410 one is a dog as it catches on the guard and just begs to be operated one handed....dangerous TBH EB
  4. Lamp wise you could go for a Logun with the filter kit, available second hand for around £50 or if you can stretch yourself a bit more and go for a Deben Mini Pro they are the dogs' If you don't plan on buying the Deden I suggest you dont try it because it leaves the Logun in the dark so to speak. Don't get me wrong I had a Logun before I got the mini pro and took plenty of bunnies with it, it's just that the Deben is alot better. Scope wise just use what you have or are used to. Good luck EB
  5. Keep your money amd leave it alone, any safety that requires you to touch the trigger to set it is asking for trouble. EB
  6. If only it was closer or if postage was possible??? Thanks EB
  7. Hi, anyone has a decoying setup that they would look at getting shot of please get in touch, local to Surrey would be good but am willing to travel. Thanks EB
  8. There's nothing wrong with the airarms silencer it's just that the Weihrauch ones are much better. There is an airarms one for sale on the BBS for £25, you could probably get a secondhand HW for around £30 plus £12 for an adapter. The choice is yours.. EB
  9. Yo Russ, I have had great success with trout pellet paste fished over a few small pellets, if that fails try the tail of a lob worm. The paste tends to fall through the shoals of roach and Rudd too quickly for them to have too much of a go at it especially if you feed a few pellets and hemp at the same time as you cast out. Final tip, make the paste just firm enough to hold onto the hook, if it's still there when you ship the pole back it's too stiff. Eb
  10. hey Russ, fish a standard lake pole rig but shot it right down as some of the bites will only show as a lift on the float. EB

    Hide netting

Hi, If anyone has a piece of camo netting that they are thinking of getting rid of please get in touch. Many thanks EB
  12. It's an arrester pin for the scope, no real reason for it to be there but certainly nothing to worry about. EB
  13. Sounds perfect thanks. I'd be happy joining a couple of clubs as long as its not too pricey just to keep my options open. Thanks for all the replies, really helpful. If my memory serves me correctly it's only about £36 to joint Bisley per year and once you have completed the health and safety and minimum 10 or so vivists then you can come and go pretty much as you please. They even have a vintage air gun evening on Wednesdays, mainly pre war stuff but very adictive. EB

    Finally!

    Rock on Tommy...nice one EB
  15. Worth a look at Bisley, they have a club that does HFT/FT and just plinking if you fancy it. Thye have a full range of HFT targets set out at different ranges and do friendly competitions on Sundays I think it is. EB
  16. Kipper has an add in the wanted section for one? http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=60920 EB
  17. Fill to 220bar, hence why a 300 bar charging kit is recommended. Eb
  18. blah blah balh..what next put further restirictions on cars because they kill people.... EB
  19. At 12ftlb AA Field. Eb
  20. I could not agree more, mine is a 7ltr 300bar tank, it came full but no test - local dive shop did a hydro test, valve test and then filled it for a total of £50. I've seen people post cheaper places to get a test done but the reality was that for me it cost £50. At least it's not due again for another 2.5 years, would have been 5 of I had put a surface only valve/gauge on it. As for getting a 207 bar tank my advise would be don't bother hang in there and get a 300 bar one, the 207 ones are cheap for a reason... EB
  21. Hey dude, you could try these people: http://www.deepblueshooting.co.uk/category...1255&page=2 Great price, free post and they have a surface valve which means that they will come with a 5 year test. If you have a rapid then you will deffinalty need a 300 bar one otherwise the amount of fills you get will be pretty poor even on a large 232 cylinder. Finally 300bar charging kits always hold their money so should you wish to sell it in the future you can almost get your money back. EB
