Its a sad thing mate. I hope your dog recovers Sometimes its better to have a dog put down than watch then suffer :( I know its a bad thing to say and hope you don't take offence by me mentioning it I had to have my dog put down when I was younger :( It upsets everyone alot but Id glad we did rather than let her suffer! My neighbour who raised his dog from a pup as I did also did the same. The dog was very ill so he took it for a walk with his shotty n a shovel A hard choice for him , he really loved that dog I hope it doesn't come to that for you mate :o Your dog's a bute! My mate has a spaniel and there are really great dogs but I heard labs (a bitch) will be ALOT easier to train than a spaniel for a first time owner. Ive had dogs before but never my own and never seriously trained. I do a bit of beating on a shoot but could just swap to the picking up team I suppose I would love to go for something like a GSP or GWP but hear they are ALOT of work and thought to start of with something a lil more manageable Its raining today Cant get out n finish the ground for the kennel hopefully can get out tomorrow

If you think she is a good example of the breed and a good dog then go for it She sounds great :blink: I would never breed a dog that I didn't think "this dog has something to offer to better the breed!" Lots of people just breed for profit

I did my PADI open water in Dominican Republic, It was great although not as much to see out there as when I dived mauritius. Spain was also quite good Go for it man you won't regret it :blink:

Hey guys had news off the doc. Afraid my eye has a condition that bars me from military service :( Bit gutted but nothing I can do so hoping to crack on. Need to speak to the RAF about it but it don't look good So anyways, atm with the job market like it is I have alot of free time n all and was looking into getting a nice dog to train up I have a very good area in my garden to put a kennel in, dog can't go in the house Looking to get something like a lab as I hear they are good first gundogs. Now first of all would you recommend getting a pup or starting with an older dog ? There is a nice looking chocolate lab in the sale section for £150, 18 months old, done a bit of gun work before. Seems like a lovely dog. Or would it be better to get the dog from 8 weeks ? I am just looking into factoring in how much it would cost. Say about pup/dog - £150-£300 ?? How much for the dogs jabs ? then the 2nd set of jabs ? Food obv and things you need for training. This isn't something to be taken lightly, A dog is for life n all. Trying to sum everything up before commiting to getting one You know be responsible n all :blink: I go running everyday n live right on a nature reserve so can offer plenty or room and exercise

I doubt catridge damage wouldn't differ much at all with the 243, 223 or 222. It depends on what bullets you use Id go for the 243 (actually I did ) you can shoot ANY deer you might come across, and dont be fooled. Its a cracking fox round

He says by here, I asked n he told me this when he sees people or dogs he wants to play and be fussed , if off the lead he will run to other dogs or people to be fussed,he is gentle with other dogs just wants to run and play , he could do with being more socialized with people and dogs ,as he only sees them when out for walks,and is in the back yard all day on his own while i am at work ,
