  1. It certainly is,with a 30 inch barrel fitted,chambered for 3 inch. I was using 30g no6,and 3/4 choke.
  2. Good write up,sounds like a great day out. That picture of the fox is extremely good
  3. The chickens are at the bottom of his garden, they have a penthouse coop and run, they are fed the best there is,and are pampered beyond belief. In return they give eggs with a golden yolk, that taste fantastic, its also a bit of a meeting place for a few of the neighbours to lean on the fence and chew the fat,and i can let Jake run round the field that it all borders with.
  4. You cant be that ignorant, you are spot on.
  5. At about 6pm my neighbour knocked on the door with a dozen eggs from his chickens, they always taste good,so i thought i would return the favour, and armed with the semi and with jake in tow i popped out. The weather down here is very strange today,it is very warm and humid with a strong wind, but the wind is very warm. There wasn't much about, but as i walked into a cut a pigeon came out of the trees to the right and tried to jinx his way across to my left and up the valley, folded him cleanly and watched as it went over a stream crashed through the bushes and disappeared into the reeds,i sent Jake in and after a minute or so a snout with a pigeon appeared under the fence followed by a happy dog tail going 10 to the dozen. We didn't see much else and it was going dark quickly (7pm) winters on its way,so decided to walk one of the large open fields to let jake have a run, there were a few rabbits in the distance but the wind was behind us so they scarpered,in the bottom of the field is a little copse,so with the hand torch under the shotgun i rounded the corner, and there was a rabbit trying to leg it,i hit it on the run and it rolled, but was still alive,i sent jake straight in,and i was ready to chase up as he had never retrieved a live rabbit, but he was up to the job, quick sniff, pick up and straight to me,and it was despatched quickly. Got home and knocked on my neighbours door with a pigeon breast and a gutted rabbit,he was over the moon,he loves all game, and promised me a few more eggs soon,in return i told him if i get out on the pigeons i will drop a few more off. Jake and the evenings bag Jake looking like a werewolf :look:
  6. This is what i do,just because they have no money it does not mean they have no assets,as i said debt collectors are useless/powerless,county court bailiffs are useless, try a High Court Enforcement Officer (sheriffs officer). You have to be the quickest, because there will be nothing left if there are a lot of people chasing. "Basically once you have a ccj against them and they don't pay its pretty much worth walking away from it in my experience" The ccj is a starting point,be clever get there first. I personally collect £1000000:00 approx every year, all starting from somebody obtaining a ccj.
  7. If you are not going to get paid, take out a county court order, you will then either get paid,or ignored. If you are ignored then you will have a county court order registered against them. The down side is it takes 23 days. THEN YOU CONTACT THESE PEOPLE http://www.thesheriffsoffice.com/ They have the best recovery rate in the business, and act under Writs from the high court, they are not bailiffs or debt collectors. We want to recover your money for you :look:
  8. Used a 30g no6,as i was out for pigeon, but from the range i shot it (10 yds) it was going to stop it dead.(look at the foxes ear,you will see where he was shot) The pic of jake was taken last month,He was posing because he knew i was taking his pic. What size cart are you using for your escort,as it may be light loads lacking the power to re cock.

    Hope Bourne RIP

A fascinating and amazing woman, she led an extraordinary life.
  10. After spending all day boarding a wall in the conservatory for the wife,i had to get out,so i grabbed my new toy, escort semi auto, and took the dog for a walk round one of my small permissions,i wasn't expecting anything,it was just to unwind. First thing i noticed was that the field of barley had collapsed,so i know where i will be decoying soon,as there is a huge wood bordering the field. As i walked down the side of the field,i noticed the barley moving in front of me about 30 yards away, first i thought it was jake my dog,so i gave a whistle and he popped his head up about 10 yards to my right,oh i'm thinking foxy,so i give a squeak on the back of my hand, and it comes in like an express train,i signal jake down, and he drops like a stone,he knows what's coming, foxy gets about 10 yards away and then sees my ugly mug ,it starts to turn, but gave me the shot i was looking for,it stood no chance as i let the 12 bore rip, head shot job done,it was a young vixen. A couple of minutes later, just after i had taken the photo,a woodie came right to left, and was fairly high,i took the shot and down it went, straight into the thickest part of the woods ,i sent in jake, and i thought there was no chance of him finding it,but after a couple of minutes, out he came pigeon in mouth tail wagging, good boy :the head was hanging off,it must have been jammed in a fork of wood. So not a bad little walk around, its the second time i have taken the hatsan out,and its my first semi,i have to say i am impressed, cycled lovely, good recoil pad on it i use 30g no 6,for a lower end of the range shot gun,i love it. My boy Jake
  11. Now reduced in price, grab it while you can
  12. Cheers Matt i did say i could only laugh You could send some photos and i would consider it as a part ex B)
  13. Come on gents make me an offer,i can only laugh
  14. SOLD,THANKS FOR LOOKING. I know i will regret this one day,but i am not using my evo so i am going to sell it to fund a shotgun. As the title states an s16 evo .177 with carry case and a hawke scope, comes with one 16 shot magazine and a fill adapter.I will also throw in a hawke laser that has hardly been used. I will also put in a stirrup pump,it fills the bottle in about five minutes, and keeps you fit,i have never totally emptied the bottle, and it is not hard to fill. The rifle has some scuffs and marks, the bigger ones i have put in the photos,it was my main field rifle and the main marks came from me falling off a gate one night:o. It has never jammed on me and has accounted for lots of rabbits,i quickly fired a few 5 strings into a piece of card,at 25 yds,as you can see in the picture. Now a price,£385.00 posted, which i think is a bargain for all that kit. Grab a nice solid piece of kit in .177 no need to worry about that big curvy trajectory:D I work all day,but emails are forwarded to me,so if you have any questions send an email,i will be on line most evenings.
  15. The RAF could come "home" to the army, after all it was Her Majesty's Corp of The Royal Engineers that formed them . 13 April 1912 King George V signed a royal warrant establishing the Royal Flying Corps. The Air Battalion of the Royal Engineers became the Military Wing of the Royal Flying Corps a month later on 13 May

  17. "This years cub" next years lamb killer, looks like a swift humane dispatch, well done.
  18. There is an app for os maps and its free, if you want more detailed maps you pay a couple of quid for each map. When you hook you iphone up to your computer,it will automatically sync with itunes, open the tab that says info, and then check the box that says sync with, you have a drop down menu to choose from,i use outlookexpress, and it then saves all my contacts to outlook, and i sync my calender as well. This will come in handy when you do upgrades,as it will restore all your contacts back into the phone at the end of an upgrade.
  19. Looks a stunning place to shoot, good write up and pics.
  20. I think you are right,we have deviated away from the original topic. I was just trying to make the point that the rspca are an organisation that have self appointed themselves as the "official "body for animal welfare, and have tried to portray that they have legal powers, where in reality they have none at all, well no more than you or i. Unfortunately the rspca have overstepped the mark and mislead people on many occasions, and have gotten away with it because people did not know their rights. I will bow out of the debate now,it has been interesting reading all sides, and very interesting to see how far the views range, there have been some interesting points raised. Cheers welsh.
  21. Norton is notorious for slowing computers down because it is very invasive and big. Personally i would get rid of it and install something like avast, which is free and just as good. And use malwarebytes and cc cleaner regularly, again all free.
  22. Obtaining a warrant is not a simple thing to do,the police would have to convince a judge they have a sound reason for wanting to enter a persons home,by force if needed. Imagine the police officer explaining to a judge that the rspca"inspector",a person with no more legal powers than you or i , had been politely told to leave the property, and now he wanted a warrant to break down your door!. Most police officers would first check for themselves, they would speak to your neighbours look over your fence etc. Then if the police had evidence of mistreatment/neglect of your animals they would obtain a warrant. Here is the daft thing,if you are in this situation, and your animals are well looked after, and the police knock on your door with a warrant to enter, read the warrant, because 9 times out of 10 the persons authorised to enter will be on that warrant, the rspca are not usually on the warrant, and you can deny them entry, the police are obliged to stop them entering as they are entering a property illegally. But if you mistreat your animals you deserve the full weight of the law to be used against you,and your animals removed for their own well being. My argument is about a self styled body, who try to mislead you with uniforms and rank, and can be seen on tv breaking the law on a regular basis.
  23. I was not having a go at spaniel, he dealt with the situation as he saw fit, he seems a very level headed person, all I offered was an alternative as to what you can do if the RSPCA turn up on your doorstep.
