Land is cleared and the land owner shoots up to .308 so that's covered. Land has been checked else he wouldn't be able to hold rifle on there. Think I will ring Monday and ask more questions. Something to do with cross boarder checks holding my renewal up
-
Had a phone call from licencing asking if I can get land forms signed within the force area. I have submitted the co-term renewal 7 weeks ago. Runs out next week. On Friday I was asked to get land owner to fill in paperwork as the land I submitted was out of the force area and would take longer to check as it was checked a number of years back and needs checking again and because of this it would hold up the process. New one on me about rechecks. My ticket is open. The farmer has a rifle as well so are they trying to tell me that he shouldn't be holding the rifle on the land? Thoughts?

I'm still waiting for the reviews, was hoping to heard back from Colin but looks like it will be another week. For the IR, if you can't make yourself then have a look at nvscopes website. Can't even but the parts in for the price Mr ward is charging. I have stopped making them now as there is very little point at these prices.

This is about the only thread where i'm scared to click on any of the links

Very easy stevo. Cut the cable ties. Undo the Allen grub screw that holds the arms onto the motor. Undo the two Allen screws that are in the top of the motor body housing. Pull the top part off the tube, the motor is held in with to small Allen bolts. Undo them. You need to unsolder the two contact on the motor. Do the reverse to put new motor in making sure you have the wires around the right way. Clean all the muck off as your there

Nope, not the pro version. He may well have had the motors changed now but when they where made local time they were 60rpm, now Mr pinewood sold the company off to Roland things may well have changed. I stripped the motor out and then ordered direct from the manufaurers. It was half the price that Roland was changing for the same motor.
-
The pinewood with a normal speed controller from ebay, and a 10 amp battery last a day and a half shooting in the summer I use a 22 lithium now as its lighter and that last a good 3 days out. What makes me smile is that pinewood not knowing what they sell. Never was the same after it got sold on a few years back. They use to be at the forefront with new ideas coming out, not now. Anyway, the motor in mine that I just replaced is 60rpm. Not 48 that Roland says. There was a pinewood up for sale last week for £100.

Tactical coating. I have had a few rifles done by them. Their Hereford. If anyone in I treated though I have 4 oz bottle and harden here. Tact black. And the how to book.

Yes, it was the same make, sort of serves him right as he was taking the pee. 3 weeks later spudnic2 was launched

Sloppy mud, just rub it onto the arms and body. Let it dry and then add more. Been working for me for a long time

Web cam and an app on your mobile. A friend was showing me the other day. Turned the camera on from his phone, saw his misses, it was OK, she was hoovering.

You want to know what you have recording just press the 'my shows' button. It will show you at the top. Set up your mobile and you can set recordings up while out of the house. I did question the parental lock and it can't be turned off, something to do with broadcasting law. Just set the lock number to something easy. Like 0000. I do like the way that if I'm watching something and the phone goes I can pause the programming. Also we record a lot of shows that have ad brakes, then you just fast forward the adverts. My main gripe it that you also need the the TiVo box into the router to use the wireless recording or transferring YouTube. You would have thought that they would have built that part in considering there is a RG6 going in already to the feed is there, just split the signal in the TiVo box. More useful apps would be good to. Seams to have gone a bit stale

I have been on the look out for a while. Either the whisper or blackout. Single shot is what I want and in gutted I did buy one a little while ago when I saw a few being sold off cheap. Wanted for shooting moles and rats
-
More info, more info. This is what im looking for. where you get, whats its grouping like and how much was the rifle?
-
not theoretical thunderpants. Just sold a pez that was for all the rifles. I have just asked if I can have a 30cal mod so I can use one for all calibres even though the 6.5 is the biggest in the cabinet at the moment. We all told you to get the reflex on the aimzonic. Works out cheaper as you only need to buy a barrel nut. Now you have to buy the reflex and the connector nut.lol Can't remember the mod size you bought now.

I don't know about that, I just try doing my bit for others, just feels a little strange being helped so much.

Thank you

I'm taking that last of what's in the freezer to a old friend that's in a bad place with the c word so a top up needed. This farmer has asked for very little in return. I have been out stalking all over the place with him and as yet he has only pulled the trigger once. I have had more than enough, so next time he asks me to go I might just for get my gun and get him to shoot. As they say, look after your farmers.

Out Thursday for what might be the last day put of the 2013/14 fallow season. I have a great farmer who goes out his way to help. Without him I would be stuffed a lot more. This one stepped out for me, not to far from the motor but I did have a fence to get over. Shot it at 100 meters off the quad sticks. M595 with 85gr up her 6mm tube. Very lucky with this one as they run at the slightest thing. This one jumped into the field and the walked 50 metres towards me. Nose in air sniffing. The wind then was from me to he.thought it was a no go at one point as if made its way up back towards the wood. It stopped just at the point where I had climbed over earlier, so I think it must have been smelling that. Just as I was thinking on how It was going to be a long drag for me, as I couldn't lift over the fence, the farmer rings, he phoned earlier to got out stalking but then cancelled as I was on the way over, I dropped into another area instead. Farmer asked where I was and that he was on his way over to help. He is a top guy and seams to have taken me under his wing. Pulls up in the landrover, picks carcuss up, over the fence and into the back of his motor. Out to the road to my car. Like it was no effort. This gave me a chance test the hoist I had made for the back of the car. Worked very well so in all a good day. 125lb in the larder so freezer full for BBQ season. Out of interest, the 85gr bullet did not leave the body. The skin stopped the exit. Just as well I'm going to reload on 100gr for the deer now as I don't like a none exit. The retrieved bullet was 42gr so I've 50% lost. I will still use the 85gr as in use the rifle with NV on the foxes. I don't like leaving a fox rifle in the car while stalking so easier to use one rifle and carry 2 loads. To far to go change the rifles as well. Not a bad year for me really. Been out with a few decent guys, guided for a few as for them to get on there first fallow. Also meet up with a great farmer that can't do enough to help. Thanks guys, All the best Phil
