  1. I turned the head away for the photo. It was straight on. I find roe the easy ones for head shooting. As long as they can't work you out, I squeak, like one does for fox, not loud to alarm but enough that they stare more than enough time to squeeze the trigger. Bread and butter shot off sticks. Yes its April, what's wrong with that, nothing wrong with a nice doe little doe though is there.
  2. Steve b Wales. Change your mind? Lol. No pm?
  3. Always take the mod off, even stainless barrels show up with white rust patches at the pointy end. i have seen first hand the damage that chan be done. i even take the bolt out and let the air flow.
  4. That is a nice head. i would have harvested it. sent for scoring but put it in as a RTA. Shame to leave it for someone else. even if you use to make a nice walking stick topper. the ones sold on ebay, was that just boiled out and bleached or mounted as well?

    Pez mod

This is the slim one that pez use to make. only 25mm(ish) thick and 300mm long. it is a reflex type that sits way back on the barrel. it is proofed and stamped for .222. 1/2x20unf cut. clean and very good condition Came off my .222 tikka t3 lite. uses the barrel as the inner sleeve to keep things lighter. no problem as all on a stainless barrel as long and you wipe the barrel down. my Blued barrel had no bluing wiped off, in fact it made it look darker. might need te rear metal bush trimmed down if the barrel is thicker than the T3 Lite. £100 F2F or buyer will have to pay the RDF costs. This is on FAC This is one of the best mods ever. i have put a few on and the pez still made for the quietest. IMHO. Only selling as i need the money and its not used so needs must. Phil Gloucester
  6. I bet a few of you that are reading this are on google images trying to find a match. i tried and couldn't find anything, it was a good friend and fellow stalker that shone the light in the end. Its bTB in a Fallow Doe that was shot yesterday. Looked in good health. with no outward showing sighs. the DEFRA vet said it was in the blood stream to it was filly contaminated. if it was only in one area then it could have been cut out and put in the food chain.......... Im going to try and take another tomorrow from the same group, i have taken a few in the past few weeks with nothing showing.
  7. A part from Fred West and Cheese rolling, what else is Gloucestershire getting famous for?
  8. Yes there was a couple of flukes present but its the hard yellow/white lumps that is the main problem and no way would i eat this one, some do. Im happy to trim a flukes out the liver to make pate lol.
  9. Just to help those who do not know what their looking at.
  10. Just thought i would share a photo from a Fallow Doe yesterday. Would you know what is wrong? I didn't at the time i received the photos but i sure know now.
  11. Afew years ago i wanted the Taclight, the someone took the import rights and banged on the dollar so there was no way i was going to pay the price. After a while i clocked on to the small sun 13 and the crelant head. i played for a while and then sold the body off. the T20 then came the standard. i have pasted my fair share of these around. but then i found, will a bit of lathe work i could get the crelant head to fit the T20 and still be able to use the twin thread that the T20 uses. this without any other mods, like over driven LED's or trimmed LED's, i can out throw a NM800 if i wanted to compete with the brightness i would change to the orange/red A1 led that taclight use but no, i want a RED led.lol. the best thing is i can change from a trow to a flood with a flick of the lens.I have now found, that if you paint duracoat/cerakote onto your thread on the T20 it tightens it up nicely with no slop at all. all my torchs are single battery, the red runs long time, the IR runs short time, but then im cooking the pill to get the extra on the photon sorry, i just have a hate for nightmaster. great product but im not being forced into buying from the one place. i think its wrong.
  12. Dogz, you stop winding them up, you are having enough problems with them as it is. you got the land checks delt with yet?
  13. add a doubler and the T20ir and you will see out past 300. Love mine and wouldnt be without in now.
  14. I think someone said she was singing but I really can't recall that part, all I can see is the little half naked butt doing its stuff.... Mmmmmm!
  15. Don't be soft. How the hell can I afford one of them. Way beyond what I can afford. I almost bought a single barrel Vickers to save money on cartridges.
  16. Pull the trigger to do the one barrel and them either bump the butt to set next or flip the safety on, flick selector to over barrel and the pull trigger again. Stillyourfault.com
  17. You shut up, its your fault. I said to Neil last night and straight away he told me I was stupid........
  18. Give me half hour with her and I'll make her sing. I'm told she is singing on her new single but I've watch it 3 times and can say I've noticed her sing.
  19. As soon as I typed the above I realised the error. I spent a few hours trying to work it out but ofrn the way, you sit drink tea and it comes to you. The gents. All good now. Atb Phil
  20. Just bought a Laurona boxlock O/U Was real gritty inside, as if there was a burr stopping the opening lever working. so i stripped, cleaned and its much better, but now i have something wrong within. i cant put my finger on it. I know, dont touch what you cant fix, but normally its not a problem. and have done a few ful strips on shotguns and rifles. just this time i cant get my head around it. tired i think. Anyway. i cock the gun. manual safety. left and right selector. pull trigger and gun fires, but the second barrel will not engage. its almost as if the sear isnt lifting up out of the way. makes no difference which barrel fires first. the Laurona is the one that the whole safety moves left and right to select. not just the middle bit of the safty. anyone have a trigger diagram or know what i havent done please. everything has been put back as in this photo i took before i stipped. or at least i thought it was thanks for your time All the best Phil. PS, Just sat here thinking. would the second cock on the recoil of the first barrel?
  21. I have taken the wrong one out so many times i did my nut in. 30 minute drive only to turn around and come back. In the end i engraved the underside of the bolt handles. there is a flat there just right for a dremel. i sold the hmr in the end so no problems now.
  22. Nite-tek AKA Mark610 sells the adaptor ring, as far as i know he is the only one. he also sells on eblag. the doubler http://www.ustasshop.com/catalog/product/8086
