As said. check fans are running. the internal 1 should be on and the condenser 1 should kick in when the the comp starts. turn the stat back down. turning it up makes it ice up which blocks airflow.

personally i wouldnt bother... the brake will only get hot if your lowering yourself down a steep hill.

which winch are you using? you only really need some sort of heatshrink if the brakes in the drum.

is that the same as bnq, they have the same stuff for £3, there's 3 rolls in a pack so £1 a roll.

my old 200tdi used to fill the sump up with diesel, turned out to be worn injectors. keep an eye on the oil level..
