HI Matey, don't mess with it just yet, give aor arms a call and see if they can help you. They'll probably ask u to send it to them for a look. Failing that, seems ovbvious but do you have house insurance for contents. Mine would cover it, but with a 50 quid excess. regards bindi
  6. Hi mate, I have just bought a minty .22 venom stage 1 tuned hw77k of the bbs for £150, with a venom silencer etc, but without scope. And i was after a .177 one too. ahh well. Allowing for the fact that this other one is a venom and also that yours has mounts and a scope I would offer for sale for about £150, allowing to reduce the price a bit after a few days. It really all depends on the overall condition, whether yours is carbine (more sought after) and what the stock is like. The hw77 are popular guns as they tune up nicely and perform well. Does this help?? regards Bindi
  7. Ah ******, if only our powers of telepathy had been better, we could then have guessed what scope you had on it....and perhaps even guessed where you are!!!! not given doh! :*)

    silencers

Nice one, just for interest, I have spent the last hour and half trying to get a b@stard little spring back into a rekord trigger unit. Anyway now its done and I feel mighty proud for my fiddling. Plenty of cursing helped the whole process along. Wife thinks I'n completely mad, but she's only half right. now I'm smug, cos its refittted and works!!! HA fiddling, ,,,when its too cold for shooting and there's nothing to sh@g,,,,, you can't beat it!!!!! Now for a bottle of newky brown. yup

    silencers

Yep, I just try to help out where I can, just like many have helped me in the past. I alsways keep it simple, not getting bogged down by purist terms and just enjoy the shooting, and the fiddling with guns.....fiddling being an approved technical terms for wasting time, annoying the wife, making a mess and getting grease everywhere!!! keep it light!

    sling

Thats it andy, these are about the best you'll get, but check out your local gunshop first for prices, Just one thing though andy, as you have a pretty budget gun, you'll proabably swap it for something better before long.......remember to take your silencer and swivels off before you sell it, as it won't affect its value much and you can then re-ise them later. best wishes mate Mark

    silencers

Rubbish, dead eyed duck!!! everyone calls them silencers on air rifles. How often do you see 'moderators' advertised in airgunner???, but there are plenty of ads for silencers, and the plods don't complain, so lets not confuse the lad hey!! most people know them as moderators on firearms!! Now then, you can get a webley pro-system silencer that is multi fit, slides over the end of your barrell and tightens on without a grub srew. They are friction fit and come with a set of different sized sleeves. All you need to do first is remove the foresight. There are other types too, good luck

  17. I did, but now I have tory tendencies, on the basis that the lib dems don't pose a serious threat. Bloody labour party, I was a member for 18 years, and what do they do: Well here's a starter: Do away with married man's tax allowance (just before I got married) Do away with miras tax relief on mortgages (just after I bought a house) Increase national insurance contributions (just when I had at last got a well paid job) oh the list goes on......petrol....stealth taxes..... and people say to me....oh why are you emigrating to australia??? Well its not just because of the nice weather!!! Jeez, this government stinks!!! oh, now I've had my rant.....i'm going shooting this saturday!
