LukeIt has not gone un noticed.I am not confident in even taking the cover off the boiler let alone doing anything with it.I am far from rich but would just like a qualified engineer to come and fix it.my opening post was just to get an approx cost of what I will have to pay.   18. System won't fill and when you try it goes out of the copper pipe outside.I spoke to a plumber who told me that but he can't do the job for over a week and I forgot to ask the cost. Cheers Rupert but don't fancy that. Fielddweller

Yes you can mix them together and you end up with a Matt finish.Make sure you mix enough to complete the job.Now if bought a fine quality bottle of wine and mixed it with a cheap one ....do you think it would still taste as good? Dulux trade diamond Matt is expensive but it is the best,we finish in 3 coats on commercial jobs and it looks good and lasts. Now I appreciate cost is a factor so get normal Matt colour and paint walls,light sand (240 grit) fill any holes and touch up with Matt,then finish with a good solid coat of diamond Matt . As an alternative acyrlic egg shell is even harder wearing for less money however dries to a mid sheen Hth Fielddweller
