It's across a rape field into a wood, I've had a bit of success on one of the flight lines at the back end of last year but they seem to be moving across onto another one as well. When they leave the wood it's either through the other side of the wood, not on my permission, or in a big flock.

Cheers, I thought it might be a bit much to get both lines to me.

How far will pigeons move off their flight path to get to decoys? I have a couple of flight lines about 150 yards apart would I be able to get the birds from them both with one set of decoys etc or would I be better off with two of us?

Some people don't have the means to dispose of the amount of quarry they have shot or don't have the ability/time to prepare these for eating so rather than take home 20 or so birds/rabbits they leave them in a field where the local wildlife will dispose of it for them. The only alternative would be to take it home and put it in the bin which is not really an option in my opinion.

There have been a few flocks of pigeons in the hundreds where I shoot but they all vanished over last weekend. I have seen the odd dozen or so birds but the big flocks have gone. It doesn't help that there are three large woods around my permission and every farmer seems to have put rape in this year.

Out yesterday afternoon, seen hundreds on the fields but there is a wood and another big rape field next to my permission so the birds were just flitting from one area to another without really settling. Need to work on my decoying to get the most out of it.

Royal mail will carry air rifles sent standard parcels, I don't think parcel force will carry them. I've posted a couple and I just wrapped them carefully and marked them fragile, it costs just over £10. If they don't ask what it is don't tell them, it's not illegal to send airguns through the post. As has been said just try to make sure the buyer is over 18.

We still have four of the KC Registered ones left 2 dogs. As they are comming up to 11 weeks we would like them to be rehomed so we are dropping the price to £200 each. Mrs Wriggler has been working with them a bit, fetch, sit, etc and they are comming along nicely.

Cheers for the replies. I've got most of my strength back in my wrist, just numbness in the tips of my index and middle finger and my thumb. On the whole it's a hell of a lot better than waking with pins and needles or a really aching forearm

I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel last year after an accident at work, so they fast tracked me for an operation as it wasn't caused by RSI but by a bleed into the tunnel itself. The specialist thought I would have a very good chance of full recovery if it was done quick enough. It's now just over a year since I had the op and I still have numbness in my finger tips. Has anyone else had this and how did it affect their shooting, if it affected it at all. I'm still getting out with the dogs and my good lady shoots but I haven't shot now for almost 18 months

We also have an unregistered litter without docked tails for £200 each. These also have working parents.
