DONT GO DOWN WORKING FOR THE COUNCIL ROUTE I WORK AS A HGV FITTER FOR THEM AND A BIN TRUCK DRIVE IS PAYED THE SAME WE HAVE TO WORK ON CHAIN SAWS TO BIN TRUCKS SWEEPERS ETC TRACTORS LARGE AND SMALL MOWERS ETC ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF CARS VANS ETC AND ONLY GET PAID THE SAME AS A BIN TRUCK DRIVER AND WE HAVE TO BUY ALL OUR OWN TOOLS I HAVE ABOUT £25000 WORTH AND THE DRIVERS EVEN GET TORCHERS BOUGHT FOR THEM SO IN REAL TERMS A BIN TRUCK DRIVER IS ON A HIGHER RATE OF PAY O AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE A HGV LICENCE

We did the same thing about 4years ago with a chocklet lab from the RSPCA we put him on a diat as he was very fat took about 1/12stone off him and he has made a fine family pet and hide dog my old jack Russell soon put him in his place There are to many people breeding dogs the dogs homes are full of them

look at my first post on this also sisshyplops is getting about the same mpg go on the ford ranger web site and look at mpg alll about 27 // 30 check or clean the injectors as i said before

I have the same ranger / engine but 2004 and I get 28 /30 back and too to work put some injector cleaner in the tank as you might have one or more injectors that are not atomizing the fuel correctly I work on hgvs as a fitter have done for 30 odd years I don't like putting anything but bp fuel in mine Hope this helps
