  1. Hello Pal. Could I please have the fixed blade and use PayPal? Iam well over 18 years. Bryan.
  2. Looking good Ian. I don't see a seat in you're punt and have recently aquired a copy of Colin Willocks book entitled The Gun-Punt Adventure. On page185 is a sketch of a seat-***-magazine designed by Payne Gallwey. Not sure if thats any use to you,it seems that people are using West Mersea gunning punts as small sailing boats and they appear to sit on the floor. These are open topped craft mostly built on plans by John Milbank of West Mersea. I have requested coppies of the plans. This is a fascinating subject. ATB-Bryan.
  3. Sorry. That last post was a Fookoop. Trying to get hang of a new lappy. Bryan.

  7. Hi Rimmie. Could you please state actual measurements. You say DEEP,but how deep is deep? Will it take rifles with scopes? Where is you're nearest town? Bryan.
  8. On a similar note. Please forgive the hijacking but I would like to get detailed drawings or plans for a traditional gunning punt. I have been looking for years. Of course I will pay for copying and p&p if anyone can help. ATB-Bryan.

  10. Get him out in the car bonding and socialising with as many things as possible. Other dogs, cats, tame rabbits and livestock. Make sure you do some retreives from water before you ask him to and make lots of on-land retreives you're self so he knows that not all retreives are for him. Otherwise he could become pre-emptive and start running in. Also must learn that other dogs are sometimes retreiving and he must not snatch from others. Yes I have made mistakes. Bryan.
  11. Payment made,thanks Scorchy. Bryan.
  12. Yes please Mate. I will PM you. Bryan.
  13. A couple of tales. A few years ago when I had sheep around mid morning checking ewes and lambs. I had walked 300 yards from base and looked over the hill and saw what appeared to be a fox sleeping in the sunshine. So i walked all the way back for the .22 thinking the ****** might wake up and depart.Well it was still there and I shot it. It was a superb shot and the fox did'nt flinch. It turned out to be a dead fox,not a sleeping one. I only ever told one person until now and he told me I was a **** or something. The other tale was a friend in his youth who thought an old derelict caravan in the woods was a good target for .22. His older brother inside the caravan was not so sure. Bryan.
  14. I will keep my eyes open for you next time I am on the road. Bryan.

  18. Freelander PANTS. I know as I drive one. 10 years old on 77,600 miles and looked after. Now on its third fuel pump. Bryan.
  19. I have fac Airwolf and have accidentaly nudged the bolt back and fired it. There is no tension or resistance and the bolt flicks back. On firing it gives a loud report like a 410 shotgun, sending all the bunnies running. The Airwolf can fire no matter where the bolt is. I don't know about other makes. If your rifle remains unable to fire with bolt back, then it is an extra layer of safety. Bryan.

  21. Hello Steve, and others. I feel that this topic is relevant to anyone interested in purchasing night vision gear of any brand. I was looking at Pulsar months ago when I came across Nitesite. I would imagine the OP is looking at all brands and types for opinions and veiws and if he thinks that I have somehow hijacked his post I am truly sorry for any offence caused. Anyhow, I searched Pulsar n750 and was directed back to this post anyway. Bryan.
