  1. AirgunBBS, ShootingUK, etc... Most of my shotguns are American, hence: Shotgun World The High Road The Firing Line Regards, Mark.
  2. Have you tried RWS Hobbies? These work well for me at close range. Regards, Mark.
  3. My suggestions: For clays, an old Remington 870 Wingmaster. For rough shooting (not that I *do* any, but the Yanks consider it the bee's knees), an Ithaca M37. For PSG, an Ithaca M37 DSPS (to have fun) or Benelli Supernova (to win). Also, don't forget *lever-action* shotguns - *great* fun... Regards, Mark.
  4. Ah, yes; there's nothing like a quick test of new type of body armour on live TV... And watching Horizon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4pgMgSzoGc&feature=youtube_gdata_player Regards, Mark. That's weird. I can't see the link I placed into my own post... :(
  5. Sorry - I must've missed something, here. I couldn't actually follow the guage link and assumed that it cited the "stepped brass cylinder" type of guage. If you use one of those to measure the choke, it *appears* tightly choked (.730->.690) but it's really TC. (And, "yes", it has quite a wide pattern...) Regards, Mark.
  6. Indeed. If you use a "fishingweight guage" on my barrel, it'll lead you to believe that's tightly choked. In fact, the manufacturer tells me that these barrels are TC *but* under-bored at .690" all the way down... (It's a slug gun.) Regards, Mark.
  7. I only got see this link when I pressed "reply" and the source was displayed. Pasting "Q0Rw2_3tkTg" into BestTube's search function doesn't find the video. As I mentioned before, I don't think that "unlisted" videos can be searched for in this manner. Out of interest, *is* the video "unlisted"? Regards, Mark.
  8. Hmm, I've not seen any discrimination against single-barrel guns down here (Hampshire). Only one ground bans S.1 guns. Also, it appears that your grounds would be happy for me to bring my lever-action along. In fact, when shooting Sporting at our local grounds, other shooters are always interested in something "unusual". Regards, Mark.
  9. It doesn't work for me, either. I'm using an Android tablet and, in general, I have use BestTube to download YouTube videos and *then* play them. However, this method entails "searching" for the eleven-character YouTube id and *that* don't work if the video is "unlisted"... Regards, Mark.

    Wiping a laptop

If you break up a hard drive, keep the magnets. They're very strong and can be useful. (Watch yours fingers, though...) Regards, Mark.
  11. A few years ago, I logged into my HotMail account to find ten *thousand* messages in my Inbox. The next day, I had *fifteen* thousand. Some blinkin' spammer had spoofed my domain name and *I* received all the "bounce" messages. At that time, I was on dial-up, too... Regards, Mark.
  12. Google "Prodec Engineering Worksop". They sell single speed-loader clips at 50p each. Buy a cheap leather belt and Robert is your uncle. Regards, Mark. P.S. The *boxes* are expensive...
  13. If you want small and *cute*, lookup "Haflinger" on YouTube. (You want the *vehicle*, not the horse after which it's named.) Regards, Mark.
  14. I would've taken up shooting when Dad was still alive - he would've *loved* PSG and CAS... Regards, Mark.
  15. That would seem to indicate a faulty switch or software problem. (Or both...) Regards, Mark.
  16. A couple of years ago, I started shooting clays and PSG using my late father's pump-action shotguns. While you may not hit as many clays as with a boring over-and-under, they are *much* more fun. Also, if'n they start using pumps, they should have no trouble using anything else. (When they learn to drive, if they learn in a manual car, they'll have no trouble driving an auto, either.) Regards, Mark.
