  3. Never buy another ST again! There are quite a few Sporting Shooters too Trust me, its the same ol' same ol' every year, only the prices in the ads change. Make me an offer! Some fine Cuban cigars, or a bottle of Jack, etc I'll even deliver near Wanatge or Newbury. PM for more info.
  4. Its great to have the tenants blessing but ask him for the estate keepers number to check with him too.
  5. Here we have a folding stock for a 10/22 with a standard barrel, used but in good condition and complete with the barrel band. Also included in the sale is a Tapco stock. This is a bit hacked internally as I tried to make it fit a heavy barrel, and failed. It still takes a standard barrel fine just not as snugly as designed although the receiver is still held firm. Think of it as a feature and bonus to the sale . I also somewhere have another arm to make the stock straight if you want. £60 for both + £5 pp or collect near Wantage or Newbury PM for details
  6. Here is pic in its current form with the EOTech, compensator and collapsible fore grip. I have found another Aimpoint style red dot I will also include in the price.
  7. The mags are a TI 25 (steel lip) and the other is and Eagle 25 (all plastic). Sorry, I don't want to sell separately. Thanks
  8. SOLD Ruger 10/22 (trigger job, extended mag release, easy bolt release) Evolution Stock 12" Hammer forged barrel (threaded) NWC Compensator EOTech (copy) red dot sight (a bit temperamental with HV but OK with standard or subs) Foregrip Additional side and bottom rails to match stock. 2x 25 mag 2x 10 mag Tactical bag 3 mag webbing pouch Also: additional red dot sight, additional foregrip/bipod, moderator (must be on ticket) £550 the lot. face to face or RFD add £15 Or just the stock, rails, EOTech, 2x foregrips, 2x 25 mags, webbing pouch £320 face to face or p+p at cost PM for more info if you need it. 9. I need a big flight case suitable for 2 or more scoped guns. A Pelican 1750 looks about right if anyone has one gathering dust. Thanks
  10. If the stomach is split the carcas will be contaminated by the contents. Being a ruminant the deers stomach contains all you favourite bugs, the most common being ecoli. As for giving it to the neigbours cat, they would eat it and go for a sleep (which they would do anyway so you would be non the wiser) and it would not have the same harmfull effect it would on you.
  11. More importantly it may have been injured, put down by a vet and awaiting collection. If this is the case and the vet used Immobilon the meat will be poisonous as this drug is deadly to humans. Vets should mark carcuses but don't always. If you didn't kill it or see it killed, don't eat it.
  12. What is depnds on is the 'declared' cost of goods in transit. If you send in a sausage with a value of £1500 then (whether it is a gift or not) there will be some duty to pay. If however a night-vision scope with a declared value of £10 was sent there would be no duty. Of course you cna then insure it for £100s. This is all just wild talk though as nobody would dream of defrauding HMG of any tax, ever.
  13. This sale obviously only applies to members in NI, IOM or Channel Isles with the appropriate slot on ticket. If you are from the mainland and are willing to join a NI club you can purchase exclusive use of this but it must stay at the club at all times. Comes with 4 mags, 3 of which are nearly new but all feed well. It has been well used, which shows, but is very relyable and has never let me down in competition. In better hands than mine it took 4th place in a level III comp last year against far better looking and expensive guns. £300 PM for more details. No timewasters, No you can't have it off-ticket, in fact if you ask i'll report you.
  14. SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD Due to emigration I am reluctantly having to sell off some guns. The first one up for grabs is: Marlin 1894 Cowboy .38/.357 Octagonal 24" barrel Happy trigger job One piece firing pin Weaver rail fitted to receiver Small ding in the stock but it is a well loved gun and helped me take 2nd in a practical match. Here are a couple of pics on request. It is not fond of .38sp factory loads but I know what makes it run sweet so... Also Included: 2 complete sets of Lee .38sp dies approx 400 brass approx 400 heads N320 powder SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD Please PM for more info.
  15. I got a hammer forged factory barrel cut down to 12.5" by North West Custom Parts but they also do standard factory cut downs for about £80ish. They don't always have them is stock though, I think they play with ones they end up with after rebuilding from a standard 10/22.

Laying in bed in a hotel in Hawaii thinking what a realistic movie it was and an odd time in the morning to show it before realising I was watching the news.
  17. Why are these amazing offers always too far way
  18. They look a rather expensive replacement for an cheap garden chair and a set of shooting sticks. Do you happen to own the patent perchance? BTW, welcome to PW
  19. I'm with the Sportsmans Association. It does what it says on the tin, no accronyms, no pretence at being anything other than what it is. Run by shooters for shooters, a shooter answers the phone, not posh totty.
  20. Done They have already lost the right to have semi-auto and pump shotguns and 22rf semis. I am going to have to sell the Xtrema2 and 10/22 when I emmigrate
  21. You could put either 'multi-shot shotgun' or 'section 1 shotgun'. Don't forget the gauge. Add the moderator on a separate slot on the application. It is probably best to check with the FEO for your area. They are employed with our taxes for just that very reason.
  22. SS is OK as they go, but as with the weekly publication after a couple of years you get a strange sense of deja vu.
  23. They told me to do the same before they would help me on a refusal for a dispatch pistol. I paid £400 to the solicitor of their choice for a barristers appraisal of my case. He said I probably wouldn't get an unrestricted so go for a 2 shot which he supported and thought BASC would. The solicitor changed my application with the police. Meanwhile I had to go to court on my own for directions as BASC were dragging their feet, and face the police QC on my own (with a little telephone support from the solicitor). With the main hearing looming the solicitor was chasing BASC daily to get a response which finally came through as a no, which shocked the solicitor. The reason I was given was that I had changed the application so it looked like I was 'trying it on', but the reason I changed was due to advice from the QC they recommended. Having met and spoken with J Swift at a game fair I contacted him to find out the reason for this decision despite the support of the solicitor (who reckoned it could be worth a test case). After some weeks I eventually got patronising letter along the lines of 'sometimes decisions don't go the way we would like and it can be disappointing...'. I couldn't afford to retain the solicitor on my own so I dropped the appeal. A great result for the police against gun ownership thanks to BASC. Time passed and membership renewal arrived in the post. The posh totty that answered the phone seemed genuinely surprised I wanted to resign...
  24. Get your non-shooting friends and relatives along to Bisley next weekend (Sat 5th Sept) for the Open Day. They will be able to have a go at various disciplines to see what suits them.
