Niiiice motor!! I have one too, but mine is a UK spec one...Only thing with Jap Imports, which have the U.S. spec.. is insurance is more, and any recalls ( there have been a couple on the Challenger) aint done for free...if at all....My mate has a Jap import almost exactly the same as mine...tho his is a 2.8tdi, mine is the V6 petrol..and the recent recall for the Pitman Arm replacement passed him by...he had to pay to get his done.. Heres mine...boat aint mine tho, it belongs to a mate who tried to launch and recover with an X5...no danger there !!! So, I did it for him.. The only reason the car is covered in mud, is because it at that time had "road" tyres fitted, got a new set of proper ones fitted after that..

Hi Guys...Just a wee update...had a quick look round on t'internet...and so far, found B+B for 1 week (Beginning ofSept) for £220 PP from Edinburgh... Mibbes a tad "basic" but I like cheap....going to keep looking...also got a discount thingy from Thompson hols, after a dodgy hol last year.( Tunisia )..so will look further into them as well...

A guy I know,from Falkirk, just sold his tatty V plate Disco, on Ebay, for £3,300....to a chap from either Orkney/Shetland...that will cost the buyer a small fortune to get it home when he collects it.. The seller was VERY pleased with the price..

Guys...What can I say...Thanks for the replies...I didnt expect half of that!!! The wife and I are going on our own...kids all grown up and off our hands..its grandkids now.. Malta actually sounds like I'd like the place....we aint after clubs,and nightlife....a quiet holiday is what we're after....with a bit of history...as I love that part..bores the wife to tears...even on honeymoon 30 years ago, I dragged her round the museums.. I'm also really interested in WW2 history, and to be honest, that was one of the main reasons for me/us wanting to go there...George Cross and all that.. Fishing...LOVE it....boat,shore etc etc....on a few Sea Angling forums too.. Pubs shutting early?...is a wee bit of a nuisance..but a carry out would do for us.. NO topless sunbathing..!!!thanks god for that..I got a crick in my neck the last two hols we had where there was topless.... SO...all in all, it sounds ideal for us....now to get looking on T'internet for cheap deals...as soon as we get something sorted, I'll get back to you..:yp: One further question tho',...what time of year would be best for a "bearable" heat??.... Hiya, Give British Waterways a ring see if they have any...I worked with them here in Scotland, and any trees trashed were cut into logs, and left on the non towpath side to rot away...I collected loads of them in my boat for my mates narrowboat.. Worth a try,...Good luck.

Hiya, Got to agree with this one...I used it on my mates PC, AVG and Avira couldnt find the virus, which turned out to be Bravia.exe....it found it, then helped me clean the PC up. A great bit of software..:) Good luck.

I had an accident at work, and damaged my back/shoulders... at the time I was self employed...I had insurance to keep a wage coming in...the insurers asked for a MRI scan....asked the doc...£400....and a trip 20 miles to Glasgow........cancelled the insurance that day!!!!

I just bought a little OMC Sea Nymph 12 footer aluminium boat, and as it used to belong to my local trout club, it was dragged up and down the slip, and not carried.. .the repairs I'm looking to do, are to the ends of the skids on either side of the bottom of the boat, its purely cosmetic, but I still want it fixed..

I have heard that theres a product on the market in spray can form, that is used for repairing aluminium....seemingly, its sprayed on, and is " built up " in layers.... Has anyone heard of such a thing....I cant find anything on T'internet... Thanks in advance ...

Hiya,,...If you can take the old one off, and get the numbers off it, you will find it easy to get a new one online...there are dozens of bearing suppliers in the t'internet....other than that, try Scot Bearings, or Bearing Services... Good luck.
