  1. The law is on the side of the law breaker nowadays. Its easier to catch tax dodgers and not only that they are more keen because its the state thats being theifed from.
  2. Absolutely excellent help. Ill have a good read! The 10 shot attachment would be very handy indeed, i'm considering it. Cheers!
  3. blackthorn, thanks for the info. lurcherboy, I bought it from the local gun shop.
  4. Hi, I have recently purchased a PCP airgun, a CZ S200. It however did not come supplied with any instructions. I would like to know how I should maintain to get the most from it. Could anyone help? Thanks
  5. I dont understand the mentallity of the antis. It appears to me that they want to ban all field sports. I bet most of them keep animals for pets, whats that all about? Having an animal as a pet is cruel, they are keeping them out of their natural habitat, feeding them tinned **** and keeping them in a locked house or even cage! Cruel people! They should be banned. The whole reason that antis have so much power in society is because of the people in the country that have no contact whatsoever with field sports so they really dont care when the antis go about protesting to have a fieldsport banned. They dont know anything about the fieldsport in question so they dont know when these "tree hugging carrot munchers" have their facts wrong. Established field sports cant go about protesting to not have their sport banned so thats off to an unfair advantage. When everythings banned then what will there be left to do?
  6. I require glasses for driving but I can see pretty well without them, I just cant read signs far away. I havent wore my specs for about a month (I was on holiday so no driving) and I think my eye sight has got better, can that happen!? If you have corrective eye surgery then how does that effect your driving licence? It says on your driving licence you must wear glasses/contact lenses while driving indicated by the code 01. So if you have your eyes lasered then obviously you may not need to wear glasses again (if the surgery was a success) but your licence will still say that you need to wear glasses for driving when you dont. Just wondering out of interest what happens, does anyone know?
  7. This might be stating the obvious but divers bottles need checked up for rust and hairline fractures every so often.
  8. The scope i've got is a Pecar Berlin Champion 6x45. Still need to zero it.
  9. Thank you to all you people. Without all the advice I wouldnt have been able to decide. I have got myself a second hand Air Arms S200 Mk2 with moderator and a second hand RWS pump. The guy threw in a pack of Accupells and a set of Bisley scope mounts. Got myself a really good buy. It came with a years warranty against defects as well! Brilliant. Its in mint condition, the guy said the person who sold it had it for a week then traded it in for a Logun S16. Thanks!
  10. Silencer will cost anything between £35 - £50 depending on make.
  11. I dont think any serious bands would consider entering Eurovision. I dont watch it, even for the comedy factor because I think its just rubbish.
  12. Yeh, I've looked into it. There is a kit that Air Arms produce that fits onto the receiver and it automatically cycles the magazine by the loading action. It can hold upto 10 pellets and costs about £65. Extra magazines cost about £13 because the magazine is'nt fixed to the mechanism. The quality is supposed to be good cause its an Air Arms product but the only thing the kit sits above the receiver so you may need to get higher mounts for the scope because it might not give enough clearance. I think there is a japanese kit thats about that is similar but is not automatic, it requires you rotate it automatically. There are also stainless or brass replacements for the plastic bolt and trigger found on the S200 Mk2.
  13. Nice one. Could I ask you how you find the S200? Is it pretty accurate and reliable? I'm thinking of getting one. Cheers
  14. Yeh it is. Its not the BBC News, its newturfers.com. Midgets is supposedly offensive in this Politically Correct society of ours.
  15. To clarify: At first I thought it was a decent gun at a decent price. It has lots of good features like large capacity magazine, big buddy bottle and I thought that Logun must have been confident of their product to offer a lifetime warranty on it. I've read quite a few reviews on it as well and a few issues keeps coming up time after time. These are that its heavy, pellets getting jammed, cylinder losing gas, reliablity (from jamming, leakage?), valve sticking on bottle among other things like varying power output etc. Two people on this thread said to stay away and another said they know of people thats had trouble. I never said the S16 was a bad, I've never owned a proper airgun before so I am not qualified to judge. But when so many people are telling you they have had trouble with it, you start listening. It all may be unfounded ******** because clearly some people are loving theirs and have no problems what so ever. I dont know. edit to add. I went to see that S200 again and basically its a Mk2 and the trigger wobbles. Ill have to spend £150 for a pump on top of the gun and if I want it to have any sort of quality then itll cost me another £50 for metal bits that should already be metal.
  16. I'm looking through the classifieds. Last week I spied a Suzuki DT350 1996 with only 2000 miles on the clock. When I phoned up it rang out I tried over a number of days and noone ever answered. Thought it was abit dodgy because how could it only have 2000 miles on the clock on a 9 year old bike? Maybe it was nicked and its been lying in a lockup for years.
  17. People slag them off but I have yet to hear ANY problems people who own them! All the bad press has come from people who met someone down the pub who's mate told them that a bloke at the club had heard that................. etc etc. If it was that bad would Logun offer a lifetime warranty? Thats what I thought initially.
  18. So you've never had any problems with yours then?
  19. Hi, Are you sure of that ? I both heard and read that the birds are sensitive for UV light and not infra-red. Besides I don´t think they can pick infra-red waves at longer distance without wearing special gear. Not so many animals can detect heat waves and those I know can only do this a very close range, just a few feet away from them. Cheers - Bolta Infact no. It was UV light. Got totally mixed up.
  20. plucker, you should have reported them to the police. robson, ernyha I think the guy was in a bad mood or something. He must have been working on a gun and I disturbed him looking to see what second hand guns he had. He had a Browning Gold Hunter 12g 3 shot.
  21. Supposedly in my area when your applying they come and ask you what you want a shotgun for and where you will be using it. Based on what you say they will either refuse you or put down on your certificate conditions of what you can use it for. So if I were to say I want it for vermin then I wont be allowed to take it down to the clay shooting ground. If I say I am going to use it on Farmer Blogg's land then they'll phone him up and ask lots of questions about the land he has. A gunsmith told me all this. I was under the impression that this was FAC requirements only and you dont have to give them reasons for useage and where you are going to use it but he swears blind that he knows more than one person that can only use their shotguns on a clay grounds and for nothing else.
  22. I dont have a shotgun certificate yet so I cant look after it. Its already been a couple of months and the police have cashed my cheque so they must still be processing it.

Thats brilliant. " Sorry Officer, I was just testing how fast my car could go! Honest! "
  24. I got permission but I didnt get anything written down. I thought that was only required for firearms. Its good land with more animals that you could shake a stick at. Rabbits, hare, craws, pigeons, ducks, etc.
  25. Why do you need written permission?
