more than likely been a male call bird to atract other goldfinches .I once came across a trap with a bullfinch cock bird in the middle with two other compartments with a trap door on each side.I released the bird and broke the trap.

Having whats looking likely to have a mortgage in place I wondering what should I be looking at price wise for solicitors fees to deal with buying my home from housing association also insurance's ie building contents etc.I have been giving estimates from a mortgage advisor but thought I'd ask the knowledgeable members of PW on there thoughts .

I must admit it did cross my mind on why they asked what the loan would be used for .wish i did get it for 10k mate lol however it's to add to the savings we have to purchase the property .

thanks for reply mate I contacted my bank and ased on a personal loan they asked what it was for when I explained to put towards my savings to purchase my property as a cash buyer I was puzzled when they replied they could not grant the loan for this purpose.maybe I will try another bank .

Having been offered our house with discount we have managed to save a substantial amount.we have been told that we can't go for a mortgage of 10000 and can't use a personal loan to put towards a house purchase I wonder if this is correct can anyone advise on this situation thanks

After a long delay finally got round to apply to buy my house.we have come to the point were we have been giving a price including discount.I'm a first time buyer and decided to go ahead and make the purchase at the price I cannot refuse really. Could I ask what advise would you give on the next move ie mortgage.would it be a case of just going to see a mortgage advisor or looking into myself.

Going to be looking at a hilux this weekend it's ,1999 model .any heads up what to look out for on this model ie any usual problems with engine,running gear etc.
