1. Its my mums birthday. 2. My little boy is sleeping in his first "big boys bed" tonight. 3. Ive just picked up my first FAC 12 bore! its old but it looks like we will be getting along just fine. Its a five shot Franchi with variable choke? (which Ive never seen before and it looks strange) Im sure I will get some doom mongers telling me I made a mistake, any ideas? However if its no good at the price I got it for I could nick some parts out of it for my broken Franchi? and scrap it. How about any dumping is made illegal. There is a maximum tonnage applied to each existing vessel for it's catch. The Market gets what is caught and pays accordingly. I'm sure values will balance out and we will all need to learn to eat what's avalable. It may be radical and the Findus boys etc may not like it but the dumping stops. I'm not totally convinced that fishermen would not over fish if they could there are a few examples out there! Tuna, swordfish, East coast Herring ? What I do know is my beach fishing should be called crab feeding. I did years ago catch the odd fish. Whatever something needs to change.

One small point why do I never seem to be able to buy the 0.9p of fuel? It never stops on anything but a rounded penny!!!! Is it another con? Shippy

I pay £30 a year but this includes water and toilets a bit posh but worth it. It's great had it five years, got fruit bushes and trees. Rhubarb, flowers, asparagus is great now we grow all sorts through the year too much at times. Costs a bit to get going and it isn't really cheaper than the super markets but much tastier especially new spuds and asparagus and tomatoes and blah blah it goes on. Give it a go but it will takes few years to really see the benefit. Shippy

It's not a boycot of the oil industry but of certain companies in it. This would be a kick the behinds of the lobbyists who, believe it or not have influence. See how upset those in the pockets of the Salt producers get when that is pressured!

So explain to us why in principle this form of protest wouldn't work or at least focus the minds of the oil companies and politicians? I havnt and won't knowingly buy from Esso, Shell and BP for years for a number of reasons surley if we all didn't it would have an effect? People stopped buying in Ratners it soon had an impact! I saw a superb image of the moon on tele last night, real detail of the craters etc. Now it had me thinking why have I never seen any images of the kit left behind on the moon, buggies etc? Surely somebody has a scope powerful enough (mine on the .17hmr just doesn't do the business) or are the pictures out there? Shippy
