I've got the Anshutz its a great weapon, very reliable never had a cycling problem, it's as accurate as my buddy's Cz if not better, or is that the man pulling the trigger Malcolm? There is an element of hypocrisy in most people's belief system, yes even mine! I think the point of veganism is fundamentally sound, they just dont think it appropriate to harm animals! and they are entitled to the view. However it wont and can't work in a world with this many people, the need to control animal populations and the fact that people like eating animals which is quite natural. I just received my Howard Leights today, not shot with them yet but they are great to play with. If they do what the reviews say I will be most impressed. Got them from the States via Amazon £47 including P&P handling etc. Shippy

If I can work out how to post the video I will however yesterday I had a buzzard swoop in and hit one of the decoys, it left a bit miffed, I managed to get a short video of it comming in for a second try only for it to pull out empty talloned! It hung around for a further ten minutes trying to decide whether to have third pop.I had a few downed birds in the pattern and thought it may dive in, so armed with the Iphone I got plenty of footage of it having a good look but unfortunalty no more diving in. It didnt help my tally but was a joy to behold! Shippy

I think you will find you need a permit from the EA if you are going to catch them with nets/traps. At the moment they are free to apply for, just google Environment Agency and search for crayfish permits. Shippy
