I also had this problem while zeroing the new scopes and was using Hornady Blue tips V-max, Had taken a few shots and reloaded then decided to confirm hit on target so I pulled back the bolt to remove the round and to my shock the bullet head was left in the barrel chamber and I also had to remove by knocking out with a cleaning rod ! Is it the dirt from previous rounds or over sized bullet heads ? No other problems with the rest 300 rounds.So the warning is ! if you load a live round either fire it or be vigilant when unloading

Ive got a Koi pond in the garden and over the years ive notice that when the winds up blowing cold air over the water it freezes so by placing garden wind break around the pond all freezing stopped ! so if you could place a wind break material around three side of the trough a possible problem might be solved for you ? give it a go as the cost to do 1 is minamal and think of the wind direction so as the wind break works.

Hi Guys,Been buying a second hand rifle and although its condition looked good, it had a brown shadow apperance over the blueing ? Using a piece of white cloth and solvent I began rubbing the barrel and there it was a brown like rust colour ? but did the last owner use anything that might make this impression of rust, a grease or something ? Anyway this is where it all went drastically wrong ! I had decided to go ahead and put rusteater over the barrel so as to make sure the nasty stuff does not get any worse ( bad move ) Within minutes the gun blue started lifting and ended like this, nice and silver with no rust so as not to panic out came the birchwood paste and the start of reblueing and after three coats ( walla ) its all turned out OK looking like brand new!! So if you want a Quick blueing removal in minutes using a brush, this is the stuff you can buy from most auto motive stores. Still dont know if it was rust as the barrel was mint silver ! but im sorted.

Ive always understood that dog owners are responsable for their dogs actions so if they are left to run out of control then you should inform the local council and am sure their dog warden can take action !

Think alot more knowledge is required before you make the purchase, as the stories ive heard of bolts flying through the air out of site not knowing were they making contact with ect, think best leaving alone and as what to shoot at target only would be my preferance !

Hi All, As title, Asking the question for a mate,Lightforce lamp anyone had a simular problem with the cable over heating ? The lamp is fitted roof mounted with the remote handle and the bulb is 100w carnt remember what amp two core cable used but looks ok to do the job ? Going to start a check and eliminate but want to know how most people have wired eg: 12v cig socket or hard wire to battery ? and do you use a relay ? Any suggestions will be most welcome. Next time it happens check the cartridges and see if the primer in the centre is marked if not then probs gun problem,did you hear the firing pins ? I've known sum carts to have dodgy primers ? and this may have been your problem.
