Hi Bud , I prefer Birchwood casey Perma Blue Paste !! follow the simple instructions clean & prepare gun use safety wear protect hands use rubber/latex style gloves and after application instead of water rinse I used spray oil 3 in 1 and it works fine ! ive also tried liquid perma but prefrence is paste.

Cheers for the reply lads I do use the soft inserts now and hadnt thought of the possible knock when lifting the gun probs borrow simple defenders first and see how I get on as im mostly rough shooting but always with a mate and dont want to be mister ignorance (nee crack) reply when spoken too, and then if alls ok may go up market and make a purchase.

Ive seen a pair of Champion electronic ear defenders for sale, priced at £30 and thought not bad looking and price as theres lots to choose from and dont want to spend alot incase I endup dont like these ! for sum reason ? any one have them and what do you think of or what do you recommend best for value ? cheers keith.

If its going to fix then yes replace the wires but as you said the wire burnt through then more internal damage may have happened ?CHECK INSIDE MOTOR. Best replace motor ! less likley to cause more problems ( battery next )if further shorts. Local Car dismantler will sort you out ! but at what price ?

Ive gone down this road ! My thought ? Birds moving fast ( quick wing flashes,the whites) so more like a landing bird but then when using a flapper its something like the bionic man (slow) and for a bouncer (froze) unless for wind ! think the wing whites for landing bird display most important , use real birds and dont worry to much on the speed but try the side way tilt more ? as they say trial n error ! :blink:

Ive found the piers great if they go out far enough and in deepish water fine, but the beaches will still produce fish if you have a good cast ? talking 100plus yd cast or get on a rockend at low water. Deep water areas best, Watch for telltale signs GULLS diving feeding on spratts and if you see a shoal of spratts jump ! cast into them. Best of luck !!

Hi Bud, Read the other comments and when you said it wont play video image buffering that goes down the the lines of your flash player could it be buggard ? try re-doing adobe flash player then start looking at codec for media player. All fails post again !

Yes you can download the required programmes on your pc ,just remember to save the file NOT run ! then go over to your sisses and then install.

Best advice !! If you are going for a woody session either go with a mate who already has the gear or borrow the gear for a try. Start buying with just the basics Hide, shells and bouncers can result in struggling if you dont have a clue at setup and can result in bad days shooting.

Ive taken the other approach left my flapper running constant and even replaced the motor from 60:1 to 100:1 rotation as its supposed to replicate a landing bird ! had great success .

Like the others I to have used them only for a short time while looking about for a decent set at the right price and like you carried half a pool cue and mallet to drive a hole into the ground ! but the weight differance when the proper hide poles landed was dramatic ! so if you may need to carry a distance on ya back , buy proper ones you wont regret it .

Ive got the exact same gun and carnt fault it though the selective trigger is a bit naff ! so im shooting from the lower barrel first with the wider choke but im used to it now, and for the price I paid you dont mind the odd scratch while rough shooting.
