If they folded down or were stackable like the shells then they would more likely be a serious contender. Needing 2 sacks to carry 24 and the extra weight plus cost mases them only usefull if you can drive to every hide spot and money isnt an issue for you. They do look good though.

I recently got 4 from freecycle. A local curry takeaway advertised them for free, they had been used to deliver chutney. Most areas have a freecycle scheme for recycling items to save them from the land fills.

Depends on the time of year. In the winter it is more likely that I would use about 15 shells, 4 full bodied and a floater plus magnet. This is when you would see big flocks of birds so try to emulate this on the ground. In the summer when birds are flying alone or in small family groups, I would use around 8 - 10 shells and the magnet.

I was prescribed beta blockers along with other stuff for daily migraines and high blood pressure (caused by kidney problems). However, I had to stop the beta blocker because they left me short of breath and energy. I would walk from the car to my office and be out of breath and knackered. Doing anything in the garden was a real trial and I had to keep sitting down. As soon as I stopped taking them my energy levels returned and I can now do more things without getting out of breath. I am still in the exploration stage trying to find a replacement to sort out the kidnet problem and keep the hypertension down but the doc thinks the beta blocker may need to be restarted.

Yes, I have had a visit and was involved in a survey a few years ago. The lady that came was a professor and she had written and been to many of our neighbours too trying to get a certain number from the area for demographic statistical analysis. For the one we did (it involved all the family) we were asked to provide spending details. She was not interested in my salary, just what our spending pattern was. We were asked (and you can back out at any time) to keep a log for 4 weeks. She provided the log and envelopes to mail it back. After it was over, we all got postal orders for ten quid each to say thanks. It wasn't as indepth as it sounds and took about two minutes each night to fill in. Now me and all my neighbours are military so she was targeting a certain demographic for a particular reason. Your involvement may be totally different and less involved. The government and councils use this type of data to work out what services and infrastructure may be required for future projects.

My friend I would guess that you have never served nor looked at a terrorist through your sights. Many of these "scum" are kids who have been forced to fight or else their sister or mother gets raped. You will find that it wasn't the media that filmed it and banning the media wouldn't have stopped it getting out. The morons filmed themselves and put it on youtube. No matter what you feel about the enemy in a hostile situation. Once you have had to take their life, you should show them some respect. We are supposed to be civilised trying to fight agains an uncivilised terrorist. This type of thing shows that some so called peace keepers are no better than those they aim to supress.
