  1. I left school in 06 and did nothing for a year... but then the right job came up and im now a 1st year apprentice in motor mechanics. So if you do decide to go down the apprenceship route then dont pick the first one you see wait till you find a good one, there will always be a good one come up eventually

I live on a farm and we have a grain auger, very nasty things they are i learnt my lesson a few years ago when a grain shovel got sucked into one.... afterwards it was just a screwed up piece of steel from now on steel toe caps and i just be very carefull around it. hope you make a full recovery.
  7. I am 17 now but got my cert when i was 16, i am basicly the same as you though as i live on a farm so needed a shotgun for the pigeons ect. You should get a cert no problem the hardest part is filling in the form
  8. I bought 100 hull cartridge special pigeon in 32g 6 from thurlow nunns the other day... not sure what they are like yet as im still using the blue diamonds at the moment.

    I have an old el gamo airgun sounds very similar to your one..mine is also not very powerfull i dont know anything about them other than they are great for rats in sheds at about 10 yards

  11. that is very good work....i am quite similar in the maths department was never really that good with those sorts of subjects but was ok with the practical stuff, i have been an apprentice motor mechanic since november and hoping to become fully qualified one day B)
  12. I have found that all SMK pellets are total rubbish and the spitfires were remarkabley rubbish Now i only use AirArms, Accupells or RWS superdomes the three best imo
  13. No i make the whole hide out of about 20-25 bales and sheet of tin as the roof, the pigeons soon get used to it being there and its alot warmer than sitting in a ditch with a camo net . By the way i live on a farm so getting hold of bales isn't a problem, we usually have around 4-5 of these hides dotted around the fields especially the rape

  18. Well around mine they are munching away on our rape, was supposed to be going after them on sunday but very high winds and dry fen soil ment it was like a sandstorm out there so i didn't bother I think my uncle has put some bird scarers out there now anyway.

  21. Well I have asked lots of people and searched the internet so now its down to PW :(. Has anyone seen those Landrover 'copies' that looked just like a defender but were made by some other company?? do they even exist or did I imagine it all if anyone knows what they are called it would be great

  23. I made one of these last year some time, there was an article in one of airgun mags on how to make one a few years ago, i dug out the old mag and copied it
