Thanks for all the advice lads. It makes sense to only keep one pup from the litter especially when i am a complete novice so thats what i will be doing.Going to see can i get a few books through my library and filter out the fact from fiction in them to see can i build up a basic knowledge about lurchers so when the time or a problem arises i will know what to do or where to turn for help.The collie bitch that i am considering on using as just come out of heat and she breaks every 6 months so i have that long to find out what i need to know before making my mind up wether to go ahead with breeding or not. As I understand it, the duck turned up the next day and claimed to be a friend of the chicken. The tiger said he was not walking through the Jungle with a duck and cleared off. The bear then phoned his friend the lion , to take the tiger's place. Apparently, the bear was not impressed to hear the same joke two days running.
