No Goose or Duck guides. If you go on BASC web site you can get information on which clubs offer days tickets where you would have to be accompanied by a club member . Don't know whether they still do but Spalding Wildfowlers used to do day tickets where you could go alone Something I'd not advise unless you are experienced in coastal Wildfowling and know the area.

Thank you very much appreciated

Thanks mate 👍 yes i agree about the price. In grains what approximately would increase the powder charge by Thanks Dave yes it's a pain not being able to test any reloads
-
My Grandson would like to ( that means get me to do them ) try some 10ga Steel loads using Bio Cup Wad from Clay Game. My question is do you lower or raise the powder charge if so by how much or load them as you would using plastic non toxic wads thanks in advance

Armsan with Anoconda Long Range Choke and a i believe Fias O/U with extended mandle 1/2-3/4 choke grandson gun

Top Man well done mate. As you probably already know I've shot a lot of GWF ( when legal Scotland ) but each season there is some mixed in with the Pink's Norfolk/Lincolnshire
-
Less my Welder's eyes are mistaken GWF
-
As you know i like small shot sizes and after shooting hundreds upon hundreds ( steel ) through various non proofed along with steel proofed 20ga have not noticed any barrel scoring yet. TSS admitted not hundreds but again not noticed any barrel scoring. Not that a experienced Wildfowler like yourself needs advice but " just shoot the gun at Pink's not the Gauge " your definitely shoot plenty of Pink's with your 20ga this season ( providing we are free to go ) roll on mid to late September

I did try some but to be totally honest found it to be a pain in the rear end so just load them without but always open to suggestions from experienced loaders/shooters. They certainly kill Geese very well

Hi mate hope all is good. 2-3/4" case - cx2000 primer - 35 grain Lil-Gun powder - B&P 24 wad ( 3/4 28ga 4mm cork inside ) 1oz 18g/cc TSS crimp closer or change powder charge to 23 grains of Alliant Steel Powder

Thanks for replying as i never saw/read your reply to Old Boggy

So my genuine questions i asked ( which you failed to answer ) are not worth reading
-
A few genuine questions if i may Dad. Did you get a letter of authority from the Farmer and have it on you. Did you phone the Police instructing them of your intentions and request a incident/record number. Did the Police give you a number Thanks in advance

Depends what you want out of your Shooting. Both are excellent Clubs with people willing to help new comers. ( Just my opinion of many years Wildfowling ) Fenland good shooting to be had but does involve longer walks can get very busy when Geese are around. Gedney again good shooting to be had no shooting from seawall but basically carpark over seawall then Shooting so very short walk. Camp/Bombing Range yes there are restrictions back onto seawall by 8am Tuesday Thursday no evening/moon flighting and no shooting anytime when Red Flags are hoisted/flying Christmas period Camp is closed so shooting anytime ( Trevor keeps members informed about the Camp ) shooting can be very good . As with all foreshore shooting ( we all get lucky at times ) those that work hard put the effort in reaps the rewards. It's really down to personal choice back to where i started BOTH clubs are good you have to decide what you want to achieve out of foreshore shooting good luck in your quest

Are you a BASC member. If so i could arrange for you to have a Day Ticket so you could see what coastal Wildfowling is like
