  1. That's good to hear as I intend to give it a bit of tlc very soon.
  2. Over the moon with it. Seems to fit me and I'm shooting well with it.
  3. Google Translate suggests that mancino is Italian for left handed - which would make sense! Guess I also have a montefeltro?
  4. Upon some further digging I believe mine might be the left hand version of the montefeltro. Would that tie in with the date of manufacture? Cheers
  5. Can anyone give me any info on this model, which I presume has now been discontinued or superseded by another? I have one which I've dated as a 1997 year of manufacture. Very pleased with it, but would love to know more about it or see some advertising/write ups on it. Cheers
  6. Can anyone confirm how interchangeable the stocks are between benelli shotguns. For instance could you fit a synthetic stock from one of the current models to an older mancino model? Cheers
  7. That's stunning for the money. Non-ejector I presume?
  8. Interested in the bare gun and magazine if you'd split. Novice
  9. That's very interesting gents, thanks for posting. Had no indication of that from Ben in most recent dialogue, only that the business was scaling back. Perhaps the highland game thing is a recent development.

    larsen trap

I'm after another Larsen trap if anyone has one to spare. Novice
  11. Might as well get things started for this season as I'm keen to get going. Does anyone have a spare call bird, magpie preferably, in north Cheshire? Happy to travel a bit further afield if necessary. Cheers Novice
  12. I'm waiting on confirmation but hopefully I've secured it. Novice
  13. Sod it, I'll take it. You're right, opportunities like this for lefties are rare! Mick I've sent you a pm. Novice
  14. Go for it Jeff. I need to shift a gun to make room anyway.
  15. First dibs on this please. I'll drop you a pm. Novice
  16. I've the same gun and from memory (without getting it out of the cabinet) it's a pedretti with a hushpower coversion. Absolute bargain! Novice
  17. It would be a big deal if they did fold as the amount of game and their collection round was massive. Not just SW Scotland but right across to the east coast and down through to Yorkshire. It would be a pain for me as well as the chiller is very handy in summer as can get them in there sharpish without worrying about spoilage. Novice
  18. Still trading as far as I'm aware. Dropped a carcass off on Sunday. I do know that for at least last month he's not been paying for game he's had to collect but was paying 30p a brace for game dropped off at his chiller. As it's been explained to me, it's not been run as efficiently if it could have been and it's caught up with them. The blackface meat company side of things was sold last year to an outfit in dumfries. I understand they're still using the same office. Novice
  19. Don't know of any dumping, but definitely know of a game dealer offering nothing for birds, which in itself is a grave concern in my eyes.
