You can have choke added. basically you get a choked tube inserted into the end of your barrel. Think Teague - without the screw thread.

I did a .410 Webley - 40 years ago and a Remington 1100 barrel and receiver 20 years ago. Both turned out excellent. Nothing since then has turned out anything other than average. Could well be down to me or the blueing products.

I have never really been a fan of Berettas, but I have a 682 E Gold 32" Trap. Left my Guerini in the safe last week and tried the Beretta. Very good - well balanced and feels lighter than it is . My only gripe is the trigger. Although it adjusts, it will not adjust rearward as much as the Brownings. Even in the rearmost position, it still sits too far forward for me. I checked with GMK who tell me that is the only trigger they do. That's just personal preference. You won't go far wrong with Beretta, Browning or Miroku.

It does make you more inclined to deal with a company who treat you so well.

Glensman - they stand by their prices. Excellent Gunsmiths.

Many factors - new, second hand, clays, game, least recoil, most reliable, available spares, weight of the gun. If you say which are most important and your budget, we might be able to help.

It looks like an early eighties 3800 Grade 3, with the teardrop on the stock.

Poontang - the offer is appreciated, but they have different locking methods. The Browning is an Allen key from underneath, the Beretta is screwed from the side.

We don't get as many round as we did years ago. I originally had a paved drive which was a bit uneven, which I relaid. I was genuinely proud of my efforts. Within a day, I had a lad at the door asking if I wanted my drive relaid properly. It was a short coversation - Cheeky ******* **** off.

I have a Beretta 682 E Gold, with an adjustable trigger. However, the trigger will not just adjust backwards as far as a Browning. I am told Beretta don't make any other trigger. I was was thinking of heating up the trigger and bending it backwards about 1/4 inch. Has anyone tried this or is it a disaster waiting to happen? Opinions welcome.

He went down under a flimsy challenge. Ronaldo and Arjen Robben have made careers from doing the same. It didn't affect the result, but it is not pleasant to see. I really don't understand the scale of the fuss. Far worse is the bloodgate scandal in Rugby. Eduardo didn't take any fake blood on to the field. Punches below the belt in boxing - step forward Andrew Golata. Senna taking Prost off the track. Schumacher doing the same to Damon Hill. Catches claimed in cricket which have already hit the ground. Nicki Pederson and Thomas Gollob in speedway - taking out the odd rival - very dangerous. Maradonna - "hand of God". No - whilst I think Eduardo was silly, there is far worse out there.

Duncan Lawton - one of the finest shots that this country has produced and a thoroughly decent bloke, won two World Championships, along with many other titles, with his Remington 1100 Auto.

No sour grapes . Never rated Charlton, Cantona. Best - world class. Dennis Law - even better. Rooney - fat little boy, with a plain wife, a taste in elderly prostitutes, some talent, very limited IQ and an inflated ego. Can't stand the little wimp personally.

Are they Mobil or Optima chokes? Open Season do cheap chokes which are excellent. You can find them On the Gundeals Forum auction site. Mods - if this contravenes any rule - sorry.

Cosd - Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc. He was a teenage talent. Now he looks overwieght and has a hair trigger temper. He could represent England at getting mad without cause. Judgement is suspect - see previous comments about "Granny". He is not fit to lace Ronaldo's boots, or Messi, Kaka and more.
-
Cosd - what does Rooney bring to the game? One of his "granny" friends? He is over-rated - full stop.
-
Cosd - I need no lectures about my knowledge of football. If you are someone who rates Wayne Rooney - good luck. You have posted your lack of knowledge for all to see. Rooney was a real talent a few years ago. He hasn't grown up and is like a petulant schoolkid. I see that Burnley share my lack of knowledge. Had they known better they would have probably just rolled over and lost. Ah well.

For that money you can do far better secondhand. It's money down the drain.

Semi Auto less 'powerful' then O/U, S/S, etc?

I don't see Man U winning the league. Ronaldo - absolute ****, but world class footballer - gone. Giggs, Van de Sar and Scholes - a year older. Ferdinand - a year more careless. Rooney - a year angrier, but never wiser.

Blackbird - I have owned two XT's and one XS - XT Teagued and XS - Diamond Invector Plus. Fine guns. Stock on the XS was too low, although it was adjustable. whichever suits. They will last and are quality guns. They handle well. They are as good a gun as most people would ever want. I am not convinced about paying the extra for Titanium chokes. Teagues are better in my book.

I am proud to be a Leeds United fan. We are going through bad times. That said - I watched Arsenal yesterday playing at Everton. After Arsene Wenger's critics had written his young team off, yet again, they produced some memorable football. It was a pleasure to watch these no-hopers. I hope they "get lucky" and win the Premiership.

Their website would stand a lot of improvement. It gives no idea of just how many guns they stock. Very good quality and excellent prices. Went a few years ago and wasn't impressed by their stock. I didn't know they had another gun room - jammed packed. My own fault I should have asked. Bought my Guerini from them. Nice people to deal with and they don't make silly trade-in offers. Well worth a visit. Buy with confidence.
