  1. You can shoot well enough as your scores show. It's about mental discipline. All you have to do is concentrate. A lot easier said than done.
  2. I would have said £300 as a private sale and judging from the photos.
  3. If it was mint or near - double - minimum. In average nick - another few hundred.
  4. Dirt cheap providing it is a Grade 5. Check on Guntrader - there is one on there, to check the level of engraving etc.
  5. I think it's an absolute disgrace. If I were Spanish, I would be ashamed.
  6. Tried some out tonight. Clean kills, no muck in the barrels, no misfires, but a bit punchier than Eley Blues. Happy enough with them.
  7. Owned both - couldn't tell the difference in build quality or anything else. I have three Trap Guns used for sporting. Unless the 3800 was substantially cheaper, I would go for the MK38. That said - either would be a fine gun.

  9. Blackpool Gun Club on Sunday. The ground stock them for resale.
  10. Bit of a mixed bag. I won't use D and J because of what they leave in the barrel. If these are okay - no problem. If they are rubbish - Surly Junior will be the recipient of some freebie shells.
  11. Anyone used these? Bought a thousand today - 7 1/2's plastic - purely because they were cheap.
  12. Martin - I agree. It's a match unlikely to be made. Interesting if it did come off.
  13. I don't understand why the cornermen couldn't see Witter was not doing enough. Telling him to carry on the way he was doing - I give up. Their probable advice - coast until the final bell and then throw your hands up and pretend you won. It worked enough times for Chris Eubank.
  14. Can someone explain how the decision came to be split? Only Witter's mother would have given him the verdict. The Ingles looked to have given up the cause in the corner before the last round. Their tactics found wanting yet again.
  15. Just watched the man with the large ego lose his title. Tim Bradley decked him and beat him far more easily than the split decision indicated. I don't know why Brendan Ingle's fighters - Witter, Naseem Hamed, Errol Graham - rely almost solely on evading punches so much. They seem to base their strategy around narrowly avoiding being hit, with no other defence. Ultimately this method has proved flawed as all have been caught on the chin.
  16. You can get a thicker butt pad or get one of the slip on type. Ebay has a shed load of them.
  17. If you buy new, you will immediately have lost money. Guns are not like cars. They last a lot longer. Buy a good secondhand one.
  18. For spares:- Chris Showler. He bought up all the factory spares when they closed down. http://www.doublegunshop.com/showler.htm He does export to UK.
  19. Don't do it. Big mistake.
  20. They are not top flight and for that money, he could do a whole lot better. There is a Bettinsoli on here. Better gun and cheaper.
  21. If it is mint nick - I would go to £500. If it is not as new, I would be hoping to get it for £350, but would go to £400. They are excellent guns, with no faults. Had quite a few. It might be worth more, but Skeet guns do not resell particularly well.
  22. Well done Rangers. Top result.
